ironman02Most pathetic performance I have seen from Carolina in years. Basically nothing else to say.
-
gerb131Down 90-57 with 90 secs left...but FSU still has to go Chapel Hill this season.
-
ironman02Nah, FSU doesn't go to Chapel Hill this year. Dulkys will probably go for 50 in the ACCT though.

hoops23There are a bunch of good teams in CBB but no great ones.
Should be a hell of a tournament this year. -

I dont know if Syracuse is great or not. But Ive seen them a few times, and they are damn close. They could be a special team.hoops23;1052201 wrote:There are a bunch of good teams in CBB but no great ones.

chicago510Holy cow--just saw FSU smoked UNC. Was this a stink bomb for UNC or game of the year for FSU or both?

Both. Dullkys hit 23 3s or something. -
centralbucksfanThere is NO excuse for UNC in this game. Yes, FSU played out of their ars. But you don't get beat by 30+ with the talent that UNC has on the floor. That was a pitiful performance by UNC.
-
ohiotiger33And somehow Clemson smoked FSU last week 79-59? Wut? We are terrible.

killer_ewokNot that stomping Providence is any great feat....but this season is the best Syracuse squad I've ever watched. That includes two other teams that played in the national title game (the '95-96 team who lost to a loaded Kentucky team and the '02-03 team that won it all by beating Kansas). Insane depth, getting after it defensively, multiple weapons on offense, experience, great in transition. Dion Waiters is one of the best all-around players in the country and he comes off the bench.
I'm expecting nothing less than them being in the Final Four. -
vball10set^^they're good, but with the Big Least way down this year, it's tough to tell how good
-
SportsAndLadyDanny Manning has to get a few head coaching offers soon..he's helped developed so many big men for KU. The morrii, thomas Robinson, Cole aldridge...hell Jeff withey who I cannot stand put up 13, 11, and 7 today. He's unbelievable.

Pretty much but undefeated, mostly blowouts and a lot of other teams faltering in conferences equal to or less than the BE.....I'd say they're pretty damn good. Have you got a chance to check them out this season? Honest question. -

You forgot Cole Aldrich. Was he there for Sasha Kaun?SportsAndLady;1052745 wrote:Danny Manning has to get a few head coaching offers soon..he's helped developed so many big men for KU. I agree. To date, they, have played TWO ranked teams. Beating Florida by 4pts, and Marq by 7pts. Both on their home court. They are good. How good? That is the question. I still think they fall into a group of 5/6 teams. I don't believe one is that much better than the other. -

Just once. I agree that they're good, but after your post, I checked their remaining schedule and was shocked at how weak the rest of the conference is. Yes, they're 'pretty damn good', but I'm just not sold---yet.killer_ewok;1052747 wrote:Pretty much but undefeated, mostly blowouts and a lot of other teams faltering in conferences equal to or less than the BE.....I'd say they're pretty damn good. Fair enough but the Florida game was at MSG (yes, a virtual home game) but Florida hit a 3 at the buzzer which made it look a little closer in the end. I think Marquette is better than people realize too. Syracuse blew a big lead in that game but credit to the Golden Eagles for scrapping all game.
I don't know...I'm not trying to make them out to be world beaters but looking at the schedule and box scores doesn't do them justice. Again, have you actually watched them play yet? And they've beaten every team they've played and most by a sizable margin. If that's not impressive...what does that say about the other teams in the country losing games...and some to teams they should not have lost to? -

Do not disagree. 'Cuse deserve credit for taking care of business. And they deserve to be #1, no question. But they have yet to play a quality team on the road to date. And right now, the Big East just leaves a lot to be desired. And I think its a stretch to declare them better than a national title 'Cuse team at this point in time. Time will tell.killer_ewok;1053090 wrote:Fair enough but the Florida game was at MSG (yes, a virtual home game) but Florida hit a 3 at the buzzer which made it look a little closer in the end.
