Ever hear of Stephanie Speilman?Scarlet_Buckeye;880071 wrote:What were three college athletes doing at a breast cancer event tho? That's the weird thing in this equation. Were there some Hooters-like chicks providing free examinations to all of their breasts? There's something fishy here. -

WTF? Maybe they have all had family members or friend's family members who were stricken with breast cancer. I mean seriously?Scarlet_Buckeye;880071 wrote:What were three college athletes doing at a breast cancer event tho? That's the weird thing in this equation. You should have deleted this before it was quoted, because it's one of the most ignorant, insensitive posts I've seen on here in quite a while...it's too late now--smhScarlet_Buckeye;880071 wrote:What were three college athletes doing at a breast cancer event tho? LOL? I really hope this wasn't serious.Scarlet_Buckeye;880071 wrote:What were three college athletes doing at a breast cancer event tho? That's the weird thing in this equation. Were there some Hooters-like chicks providing free examinations to all of their breasts? There's something fishy here. -

ksig489Maybe they support the cause because a woman in their family has had breast cancer. OR...it could be that OSU wants to repair some image issues and has players making appearances at local events. Either one is totally legit.
-
charliehustle14Say what you want about JT and OSU, but they are very involved in the community. Visiting a breast cancer function is nothing new or out of the ordinary. OSU players have frequented food kitchens, hospitals, military bases, and fundraisers like these since JT came to Columbus.
I mean breast cancer only comprises 1/5 of all cancer cases in the world. No idea why it's such a big deal or why a few OSU players would take the time to attend such an event. (sarcasm) -
jpake1If you were a star athlete, your stupid post would be on espn right now and your stock would be f a l l i n g.

This is easily one of the dumbest things I've seen posted in this forum. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.Scarlet_Buckeye;880071 wrote:What were three college athletes doing at a breast cancer event tho? That's the weird thing in this equation. Scarlet_BuckeyeI see my SARCASTIC post went completely over everyone's head. I was TRYING to suggest that they could have been on a stripper boat accepting BJs (ala Miami and Shapiro), but instead they were at a respected event (i.e., breast cancer). I'll accept blame for not putting " /sarcasm ," but Jesus people... I didn't think it would be that hard to tell.

LOL-nice attempt at the spin, Scarlet...enjoy the weekendScarlet_Buckeye;880336 wrote:I see my SARCASTIC post went completely over everyone's head. sleeperI'm pretty sure Scarlet was being sarcastic, don't everyone get their panties in a bunch.
I'm glad they got suspended. Ohio State prides itself on winning football games, having the best damn band in the land, and being the cleanest program in the country. Let's show the world we can suspend our entire team, and still be one of the best schools in the country. -

LMAO--well then if you say so...don't be fooled, sleeper--he's spinning like crazy :rolleyes:sleeper;880487 wrote:I'm pretty sure Scarlet was being sarcastic, don't everyone get their panties in a bunch. -
PaladinAkron is just awful this year. This won't matter as the Bucks will roll big !

stroupsIf we called the others the tat 5 can we dub these players the tit 3

jordo212000Oh, the "I was being sarcastic" defense. Ok. My next guess would have been that somebody hacked your account.

WriterbuckeyeHyde and Smith will need to stay healthy and well hydrated tomorrow. It looks like Berry is going to be out for at least 3 more weeks with that hamstring injury.

Probably a blessing anyways. I'm going to love getting an extended look at Hyde and Smith. Those 2 guys should be able to handle the load tomorrow. They have waaaay too many RBs as it is. If they were all playing I think you'd see 4 guys with about 10 touches each. Hopefully Hyde or Smith acquit themselves and then we can move forward with Hall / Berry as the change of pace guy.Writerbuckeye;881040 wrote:Hyde and Smith will need to stay healthy and well hydrated tomorrow. So do you imagine the "gift baskets" they receive for getting to an NCAA sanctioned bowl game meets this requirement?wildcats20;879872 wrote:They still can not receive any gift worth over a certain amount of money. I believe that amount is(or was at one point) $100.

I remember hearing that those gift baskets would normally be a violation but the NCAA allows it sort of as a 1 time type thing.ytownfootball;881327 wrote:So do you imagine the "gift baskets" they receive for getting to an NCAA sanctioned bowl game meets this requirement?

Lol...yeah just an overt illustration of the blatant hypocrisy on display by the NCAA.SportsAndLady;881358 wrote:I remember hearing that those gift baskets would normally be a violation but the NCAA allows it sort of as a 1 time type thing. -

I actually figured he was being sarcastic but it was too much fun seeing everyone think he was serious. It was one of the more subtle sarcastic posts, but why would Scarlet be criticizing Buckeyes for attending a charity event? That alone is why I thought he was being sarcastic.queencitybuckeye;881373 wrote:When everyone misses it, the problem isn't everyone. -

The problem is that there are any number of members here who would post that message and mean it.lhslep134;881391 wrote:I actually figured he was being sarcastic but it was too much fun seeing everyone think he was serious.
