Essentially they never vacated anyone's wins in their record books except for Ohio State's recent vacation. What a bunch of fucktards.

    One example from the article.

    USC's vacated season

    Ohio State's vacated season

This is why OSU is the best. Book it, bank it.
  • Writerbuckeye
But there's no media bias where OSU is concerned...
  • jhay78
But, but, . . . ESPN is perfectly objective in its coverage of NCAA scandals, and OSU fans just like to whine!

Wish I had a dollar for every time those exact words were posted on this site after Memorial Day.
  • se-alum
NO! OSU fans are overreacting to a non-existant bias!

Just did a quick search. You'd have exactly $1 that you would have to pay to yourself.

    This is some bullshit.

Vacated wins don't matter, remember? So why the whining?

OK "exact words" being the outliar here. God you're an ass most of the time.

There's a difference between whining and proving a point.

Serious? That's all I heard after the vacating announcement. Now it's a big deal.

How the hell am I trolling?

That's all you heard? You weren't listening then...and maybe trolling wasn't the right word, but the point being made here isn't about the vacating of wins but how ESPN chose to selectively present them.

Pretty sure it was almost everyone here (including myself) that agreed vacating doesn't mean shit, and you know it. So why now is it a big deal?

    This.

So it's whining. What am I missing? If I find where ESPN shows vacated wins for UM basketball, is this thread still valid?

Again... you're missing the key world: selectively. ESPN is selectively removing OSU and, in your case, UM basketball's vacated wins; yet they are choosing not to remove other programs that have had their wins striked from the record books.

You can't call something "whining" when it's a valid assertion.

did I stutter? wtf did I just post?? it's HOW ESPN CHOSE TO SELECTIVELY VACATE THEM...try and stay up, Webbie!!!!!!

Vacating wins isn't a big deal

ESPN showing one program''s vacated season as vacated and another program's vacated season as a season IS A BIG DEAL.

    Do you comprehend?

No. That is contradicting. Carry on with the whining.

However, if we're going to talk bias, is it pro-USC or anti-OSU? Need more samples from other schools to support either/both cases.

    What is contradicting?

Who is whining? We are proving a point that (like ts said) there is either an anti-OSU bias or a pro-USC bias happening.
  • WebFire
    Carry on.

I'd say you were being deliberately obtuse...but being a scUM fan that would be redundant.

You'd say it but you'd be wrong. I know what they are saying. But reporting or not reporting on something that isn't a big deal can't be a big deal.
