Terrelle Pryor not returning to OSU

An Ohio State offensive starter said today: "I haven't spoken with Terrelle and I don't care to... It really sucks Coach Tress had to take the fall for a couple idiots' mistakes."
They were talking about the whole situation on WKNR this afternoon and they said if Tressel had one major fault it was "loyalty." Compared it to a father protecting his kids. -

There are far better comparisons. And you said turning in Pryor. Far different than giving special treatment to the best player in the NBA, a guy who is worth over a hundred million to your franchise.BR1986FB;786795 wrote:I'm comparing them in how Tressel enabled Pryor instead of turning him in and Lebron in how Gilbert enabled him and let him have run of the franchise. BOTH were given special treatment (more than they deserved) by their respective franchises. I never said Lebron was a trouble maker but, like Pryor, he was spoiled ROTTEN by ownership. -

How about winning? That's what his fault is to me. A win at all costs mentality. -

That's funny because others seem to see the validity in my comparison. You might too if you got your head out of Lebron's ass. Both players were enabled/coddled. Doesn't matter how much they make of their status. It seems like their coddlers have been turning the other cheek their whole lives. -
jordo212000Yeah I think Tress's actions had more to do with the fact that we were National Championship contenders

His loyalty/stupidity was his downfall. He should've thrown that prick Pryor under the bus. What kind of repayment does he get for that loyalty? Loses his job and Pryor is flaunting that he's an asshole by showing up in a car in dealer plates. I'm not saying what Tressel did was right, because it was FAR from it but someone should seriously curbstomp that smug prick Pryor. -
jordo212000TP is done at Ohio State. I would be shocked if he is still around come August.
Fans hate him now and it looks like his teammates are turning on him now too -

Hmmm...and now that I think back on it, Pryor made OSU, Michigan and Penn St wait on his "Decision" too. Eerily similar.... -
thedynasty1998Should all of the tattoo 5 be kicked off the team?

I would be cool with that -

Are you kidding me?! I took the ACT after partying the night before (we'd won the conference in football, and I was only a junior), fell asleep halfway through, got a 24, and still got into Ohio State without having to retake to get the 30 I had aimed for. Athletes get in with 17's and 18's all of the time. -

I think it should be a team vote. Or at least the seniors should vote on it. -

Good call. That's a great idea. -

You won a TAAC championship and celebrated?? SMH. -
karen lotzDidn't see this posted so sorry if I missed it. Pryor has been driving around on a suspended license for 2 weeks for failing to provide proof of insurance.

LJIs he getting dumber by the minute or can Fickell not control the players already? Is he even a part of the team right now?

This link was included in that other story from college football talk. -
Fab1bit just keeps on coming, TP just go home please
-
AutomatikIt's actually getting comical to me. I feel distanced from it because hardly anyone in this city gives a shit about college football and I don't talk about it much with coworkers. But damn I'd be sad if I was in Columbus.
This is a full blown free fall. -
jordo212000Is somebody not telling TP to lay low for a little while? I mean seriously

Doubt it.
Which tells me, that he has already been dismissed from the team. -

Terry_TateWhat an idiot. As exciting as he was to watch I can't wait to watch the Buckeyes without #2 at QB.
