Its been 3+yrs already. College basketball is a sport where you are able to turn things around pretty quickly through recruiting. I realize, and do understand he has had some bad luck with injuries and such. But people in this business, as well as fans and media have short memories.

I may be wrong, but I am pretty sure Seton Hall created that chant in the early 90s. Whenever Danny Hurley had a bad game, the fans crucified him with the "Bobby's better" chants. Really got in his head, which is sad considering it was a kid on their own team! He even left the team at one point because of mental issues.

I stand corrected. Recent trend at least I think is IU.

Thats fine, but Indiana fans are patient with him. So the talk of him being fired are just asinine, thats all Im saying.

In one year he turned Terrence Dials a 3-star recruit into Big Ten Player of the Year, from a lost Junior averaging 9ppg. This is what Matta had. Jamar Butler a Soph and Ivan Harris a Junior were the only players on the roster recruited by anyone higher than a MAC school and Harris didn't do squat until he was a Senior. The rest of the roster: Braydon Bell, Sylvester Mayes, Samuel Payne, all house hold names??? Jekel Foster a 2-star, Ron Lewis a transfer from Bowling Green. Matt Sylvester who was known for one shot in his entire career, Twigs, and JJ. Not another coach in the Big Ten could have won a Big Ten Title with that roster.
Cool. Matta doesnt win the Big Ten title with Indianas roster last year. No chance in hell. Those players are all better than Kyle Taber....the only player Crean had. you just proved that what Matta inherited talent wise blows out the 1 player, a walk-on, Crean inherited.

Hell no, lol. But he wont have to anyway. Id assume Pritchard will be matched up with him.

You dont think Matta will go "smaller" and have Thomas play the blocks with Sully. Kind of like Dallas does, and just allow him the ability to go to the wing at times.
