Boise Stae vs Nevada
-
LocoEngineer66Because I have listened to my son all season telling how good Boise is and should get to play for a National Championship.
-
LocoEngineer66I would have respected them a lot more if they would join the Pac 12.

I'd rather see Boise vs somebody rather than Oregon/Auburn.
Boise is the most well-rounded team I've seen all year. Minus that kicker. Ugh. -

Because the kicker missed 2 chip shots? Boise State also got homered beyond belief tonight by the refs. Absolutely terrible.
BSU would be favored over TCU, LSU, Wisky and probably even Stanford in their bowl game this year. -

they can't just show up at pac 12 headquarters and say "hey, we're just going to go ahead and join your conference for the next season." there has to be mutual interest and boise does nothing for the pac 12 -
davewhat a great game, boise always delivers a good one to watch when they play in a big game.

Yeah but they didn't win...and if you're a damn title contender you blow the fuck out of the powerhouse that is Nevada.
BTW Boise was favored by 14
Spare me the refs bullshit -

Kind of reminds me when OSU was favored by 15 against Illinois in 07 and blew it. Only differences (other than obvious difference that BSU could never get into title game with a loss) are that OSU lost earlier and it was a home game for the Bucks. But they should have blown the fuck out of the powerhouse that was the 7-3 Fightin' Illini, right? OSU benefited from all the teams ahead of them losing to make it to the championship game.ytownfootball;576756 wrote:Yeah but they didn't win...and if you're a damn title contender you blow the fuck out of the powerhouse that is Nevada.

BlanketNevada's run game was very impressive. The QB is a good one.

Wasn't Nevada ranked 19th?ytownfootball;576756 wrote:Yeah but they didn't win...and if you're a damn title contender you blow the fuck out of the powerhouse that is Nevada.

I think Iowa is currently 24th and Ohio State only beat them by 3.
People who are considered contenders aren't necessarily the best in the country..they are contending for that shot. I consider OSU and BSU both contenders...just not the best in the country. Saying they should have blow out Nevada is like saying Ohio State should have blown out Iowa and didn't. -

Dude they're terrible. They lost, doesn't matter whose fault. -
Hb31187Losing on the road to a top 25 team=Terrible.
So what was OSU last year losing to Purdue? A fucking embarrassment, and an absolutely HORRID team haha? -
Fly4FunAt least the Boise State talk can stop... too bad we have to listen to TCU garbage still.

Oh please just STFU. Boise just proved what many of us have thought all year long. Very good team, that on any given day could beat anybody. But play in Big Ten, SEC and Big12 week in and week out...and they would end with 2/3 loss season. -

Crimson streakI really hope Ohio state gets to play Boise now. I think Boise would still beat Ohio state

It could happen if every BCS bowl and Big Ten bowl tie-in passes up on the Buckeyes so they have to accept a bid to the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl. -
Hb31187Someone will make Boise St a bid, theyll be a top 10 team still probably. People act like theyre barely bowl eligible
-
Cleveland Buckenigmaax;576686 wrote:No, I'm just curious where all the folks who said they should be in the title game will have them now because it is either going to be funny to hear the lame rationale for a high ranking or its going to show what some of us have said all along - one win don't mean shit.
You have your answer. They ignore the loss to Nevada and the rankings and just remark that Boise would beat Ohio State. -

The WAC champion is tied in to the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl. They aren't going to a BCS bowl, so that is where they will go. -
chief_wigamBoise got beat by an average team last night who got beat by Hawaii for god's sake. Nevada would not be any better than 5th in either the SEC, Big Ten, or Big 12. And before some dumb ass asks whose better in each of those leagues, here you go.......
SEC- Auburn, Bama, LSU, Arkansas, USCe, and maybe Miss. St.
Big10- Wisky, OSU, Mich. St., Iowa
Big12- Nebraska, Oklahoma, Okie St., A&M, and maybe Mizzou -
Hb31187Nevada just won the WAC, unless they totally collapse against LA Tech

There is a 3 way tie for the WAC. If all 3 win their last game, they will all be named co-champions. The WAC does not have tiebreakers. The Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl will get to pick from the 3. I would think they would take a top 15 Boise State team, but if they take Nevada, then Boise would play in the Humanitarian Bowl. -
Hb31187Lol they dont have tie breakers? def didnt know that, dumb
