    OSU by 17.

Penn State's second-string QB Matt McGloin probably deserves to start against the Buckeyes. For those of us who watched Penn State come from 3 TD's behind to pound Northwestern this kid may be Penn State's future.

That being said I don't think the Nittany Lions have enough horses to beat Ohio State in the Shoe this season.

    Ohio State 35
    Penn State 21

Perfect tailgate game for me before I see Spurrier vs Meyer in the SEC East Championship Game

OSU's defense will be the difference, Bucks 28-14

If Devon Torrence isn't playing....I will take the Bucks by 50. If he is playing, I will take them by 14.

Bucks need to show up in a big way.

I worry about this one. Penn State has grinded out two wins over Michigan and Northwestern, and Tress is only 2-4 in his career @ OSU coming off a bye week. With 2 weeks to prepare for someone, I'm not quite sure how this is possible, but it is what it is.

Buckeyes should win this game. I am a Nittany Lion fan, but we are just too young and too banged up for this one. I am hoping we can just hang around and make it respectable.

    Bucks by 19

i'll take the lions by 4. I just have a bad feeling about this week.

This is a trap game. Don't be over confident Bucks that did not serve you well vs. Wisky. Granted this one is at Home but it will be closer than most folks on here think.

Even with OSU's D being banged up, it's MUCH better than Michigan or Northwestern's D's. Bucks by 21.

OSU by 15-25, depending on which OSU shows up.

    This.

I agree with darbypitcher22 about this one. Penn State has shown that they aren't quite up to Penn State standards this season but they have won a couple and have built a little momentum. The Buckeyes need to get out of the gate early and keep the hammer down.

this is my concern. this isn't one of the Past Tressel teams that comes out like a ferrari and runs out of gas. they will let PSU hang around long enough to steal this game IMO.

I don't understand that point. This has been the been the strongest 1st half offensive OSU team I've seen since Tressel has been there. They've already scored more first half points in 9 games than the 2006 offense scored in all the first halves of that season. Their first half point differentials are higher too.

Putting weaker opponents away early is not a problem with this team at all. The problem is weak special teams, and a weaker than usual defense (mainly due to injuries) that combined can allow a team to get a quick early lead (Wiscy) or allow them to fight back late. However, I don't think Penn State has a strong enough offense this year to do either of those.

My Prediction OSU 34 Penn State 10. OSU up 28-0 at halftime.

PSU is #2 in kickoff returns in the big ten. That scares me a little.

There defense isn't bad, but I don't think they have enough offense to get it done this year.

I think OSU wins, but doesn't cover. I see something like a 27-17 game, with a big special teams play by PSU keeping them close.
