Week 11: (8) Ohio State def. Penn State, 38-14

charliehustle14Pryor taking off to run is key. It keeps the defense off balance and really can frustrate and tire them, which opens up a whole lot for the backs.

Those are just games we lost due to the other teams offense making late drives on our defense, and in some cases, the other teams offense just destroying our defense.
Haha, 7 games in what? 7 years?
Like I said..unreasonable expectations -

Figure out how to play defense? What? This team is just fine on defense according to some. -

Keep ignoring my post since you have no response. Smartest thing you will do all day.... -

What other reason is there? Certainly not the offense, nor special teams. -

You're delusional and probably never wanted John Cooper fired either, right?
S&L: "Who cares if he can't beat Michigan and get us to the National championship, those are unrealistic expectations"
It's unreasonable to expect a defense to record a shutout every game. It's unreasonable to expect a team to play perfect all the time. It's unreasonable to expect a team to be undefeated every year (unless you're Boise State). And it's unreasonable to want guys fired for losing 1-2 games a year. If you win six conference titles and one national title in a span of ten years, your team was as good or better than every other program during that decade!!! I understand wanting to win every game every year, but if your realistic expectations are to go undefeated each season and you can't accept an occasional loss then you're being unreasonable. -

Everyone read this post. It will make you look like a good OSU fan...not a retarded unrealistic OSU fan. -

Hard for the offense to do anything when our defense can't get off the field....SportsAndLady;556655 wrote:What other reason is there? Certainly not the offense, nor special teams. -
charliehustle14I can see Tressel now
Oh yeah, so we have this one RB named Boom who is pretty damn good for a little guy. And Oh yeah, our QB sure is fast. And that Saine guy is pretty fast as well. So yeah, we should try that whole running the ball thing. -
darbypitcher22guess that guy dinged himself up pretty good...
-
LJI have never seen so many wrong "facts" in one thread
Tress is 2-4 after a bye
McGloin is a RS Soph
this is McGloin's 3rd start -
krambmanFirst of all, who was that Brandon Saine guy in there on that drive? That last run he had along the sidelines that set up the touchdown was maybe the hardest run I've seen out of him in four years! And a 98 yard TD drive where you hardly passed the ball against a defense that you had struggled to get first downs against is extremely impressive!
Also, it's nice to see that since we've scored a TD we can take all of you crazy Buckeye fans off of suicide watch. -

Dude, who is saying the defense needs to post a shut out? You guys are simply being apologists to Heacock. I'll wait for the next big game when the defense gets SHREDDED again and all of you are AGAIN calling out Heacock.krambman;556656 wrote:It's unreasonable to expect a defense to record a shutout every game. Let's be real, the Big Ten has been DOWN for those 6 years. The bowl records prove it, as does OSU against other conferences top teams.
I thought Heacock figured it out against Oregon last year when he finally brought more pressure than the D-Line. What's unreasonable is to expect the D-Line to bring pressure by themselves on EVERY down.
But no, this season, he went right back to the way he has been. -

darbypitcher22how do we have nobody coming from the outside to clean plays up with somebody bounces?

Cleveland BuckI'm petrified whenever I see Silas Redd in the backfield against this D-line.

darbypitcher22holy shit we just got bailed out

hoops23LOL Devon Torrence. Wow.
Jim Heacock made that pick.
Like I said, PSU hasn't been in this kind of game, so they will most likely choke.
