Week 10: Michigan def. Illinois, 67-65 in 3 OT
-
LeonardoBoth teams looking to become bowl eligible
Noon kickoff on ESPN -
Cleveland BuckIllinois is a better team overall, but to slow down Denard your defense has to be disciplined, and that is something Zook is never good at. That is the only reason Michigan has a chance. I will say Illini in a close one.
-
dazedconfusedillinois by two scores
-
dwccrewIllinois in a tight one. 35-31
-
believerIllinois in this one. I watched the Illini pummel Penn State at Beaver Stadium and Michigan struggle to keep up with Penn State at Beaver Stadium.
The only reason Illinois will not hammer Michigan is because this one's in the Big House.
Illinois 28
Michigan 21 -
darbypitcher22I think the Illini figure out a way to get it done
-
vdubb96Man if Zook and the Illini pull this one off, Ann Arbor is going to go into melt down mode. This will be two straight years with strong starts only to implode at the end. I LOVE IT!!!
-
Pick6Illinois has a pretty good defense and I like their qb. I'll take them by a td
-
TiernanSeriously?....this game is worthy of a Sticky?
-
gerb131Battle for the Jerry Jones Bowl here. Illini by a few. I gave Mich a chance vs PSU and they sucked it up.
-
0311sdpI thought a week ago that both this game and Penn State were winnable games for Michigan--------but, after watching that pathetic defensive display Saturday, I think Illinois cruises in this one, even in the Big House. Illinois 42 Michigan 27.
-
vball10setIMO, if the Illini win this one, RichRod's in deep shit--deeper than he is now..he'll need to win out to save his job.
that being said:
Illinois 49
tsun 28 -

bigkahunaDid anyone see Rich Rod getting on the defense during the one T.O? G. Robinson was just kind of standing there. Say what you want about talent... I want the DC in there getting fired up. I've never seen Greg Robinson do this.
I will be going to this game, so I hope they figure SOMETHING out. Watching your team lose is one thing, but being there witnessing them lose is SO MUCH WORSE. -
Trueblue23I'll go on record right now, quote this post all you want..
No matter how Michigan finishes this season, Rich Rodriguez WILL be back next year. -
ytownfootballI actually think you're right. I just can't decide on why that is, though I'm leaning toward the administration not wanting to admit to the worst hire they could have made.
If he has ANY defensive improvement I think he could be there longer, though I think most want him gone last week. -
Manhattan BuckeyeIMO this is the type of game that Illinois, although should win, tends to crap the bed. They beat UM the last two years even though they had a poor overall record, this year I see them pulling the upset in a high scoring affair.
-
chippy10I think michigan comes with a scoring machine shootout and denard has a solid game and michigan wins 38-31 at the big house.
-
vball10set^^^welcome to the OC...or welcome back??
-
FatHobbitUM's defense is going to make Illinois' offense look fantastic.

You and about 85% of the "public" as well. And when that happens, it tends to come out the other way.
I like Michigan 31-21 -

I'm with you on that one. I would probably take Illinois if they were favored. -

I'm up quite a bit of money on bets this year. Other bets that I felt the same way about were MSU +4.5 against Michigan (MSU 35-17?), ND -3 against Boston College (31-13), over 72 in the USC-Oregon game (53-36?) , Toledo -10.5 against Eastern Michigan (42-7), OSU -26 against Minn (52-10) . I was nearly wrong on MSU -5.5 against Northwestern, and was real close in my ND-MSU bet (took ND and the moneyline of +140? plus the over of 52) -
karen lotzMichigan loses another DB for the season. JT Floyd injured his ankle yesterday in practice. http://espn.go.com/blog/bigten/post/_/id/19081/michigans-cornerback-curse-continues
Also LOL that Purdue has been hit with injury at key positions more than anyone in country. I think Notre Dame takes the proverbial cake on that honor.
