LJI didn't know that .01 to .99 seconds is no longer existent?

How about that. Notre Dame still lost. Go fuck yourself. -

I didn't know that 0:00 meant there was still time left? -

Only hermaphrodites can do that so go for it.-Society-;489015 wrote:How about that. Notre Dame still lost. Go fuck yourself. -

It does. Watch the end of the Notre Dame/Michigan State game. You will see a perfect example. -

Play clock is :00 which would be full seconds. If you truly get a full 40 or 25 seconds, that means you would get 1 full second, or .99 to .00, after the clock hits 00. It's simple math, and in fact, reality -

Then they should show the .99, etc. Because 0:00 usually (almost always) means the play/half/game is over from my 20+ years of watching sports. -

LJI dunno, I'm hammered and don't really care either way who won the game

Cleveland BuckJust imagine the play clock did look like :00.0. The clock shows :01.1, then :01.0, then when the clock first hits :00, it shows :00.9. They got the snap off before it hits :00.0. Which is why officials check the clock first before they check the ball to determine if it's a penalty.

TiernanWooee just got back in town after working the clock at East Lansing tonight.
Cry & whine all you want Lotz & Ewok it goes down in the books as a big fat "L". Your lord and savior Kelly is now Ofer to the whole f'n state of Michigan...and Jim Tressel owns Michigan. -

Hmmmm does that appear to show the stadium clock at zero with the ball not moving? Say it isn't so. -
newarkcatholicfanNotre Dame fan crying over not getting a call is almost as funny as hearing so many saying how good this team was going to be this season.

There is nothing moving in that picture. It is a photograph. They don't move. There is no way to see if the center started the snap yet. -
CinciX12I didnt get to see the end of the game so I'll reserve judgement, even with the pictures. Disappointing way to lose though. I still love the play call for MSU to do that though. Thats the balls every coach should have Mr. Tressel.

Mr Tressel is doing just fine...he wins games.... -
CinciX12Correct, he does! And kicks field goals inside the 20 against MAC schools.
