Cool story bro. Who is the only person this thread to call them the CHeat? Who answered it? Maybe BR was just waiting to turn on his answers to build drama and anticipation to boost OC's ratings?? Is that how that works?

LOL your entire thought process is based on assumptions and guesses. Must suck to be that unsure of yourself.

Does that mean you have a problem with DWade recruiting LeBron?

BTW, if you're going to hate someone you should hate the Cleveland front office who completely destroyed their chances of having a good offseason during the biggest FA period in history. Meanwhile, Miami's FO will have books written about it because they made ALL THE RIGHT MOVES.

And Y-Town, trust me, I know the roster would have looked different had he stayed. They still wouldn't have beat the Celtics though, and they wouldn't have gotten much better during the biggest FA period in league history. Apparently that's LeBron's fault because he's supposed to be the GM too I guess, but look at all the teams in the East that got better that would have been better than the Cavs. Chicago, Boston, Miami with Bosh and whatever else Pat Riley's genius would have pulled off with the money they spent on LeBron. Remember when the Cavs played the C's? 4 of the best 5 players on the court were in GREEN jerseys. What happens if LeBron stays and they lose to the Celtics again? Then what? What would your reaction be today if LeBron was in a Cavs jersey and last night they got beat by the C's and you KNEW LeBron was coming back next season? You'd still be talking shit.

Well I must say I disagree with the majority of your points here and for good reason. First of all, it's purely speculative to say that the Cavs wouldn't have gotten better. If you look at the roster each year sicne LeBron was drafted they improved it. Like I said, the Cavs had a sign and trade in place for Bosh and certainly would've made some moves either via FA or more likely via trade. With the upgrade at coach in Byron Scott it's certainly likely that the Cavs would've been a better team than the ones that won over 60 games in consecutive seasons (say what you want about the meaning of the regular season, but mediocre teams don't win 66 and 62 out of 82 games). Also I completely disagree that this year's Celtics team would've beaten the Cavs. Hell they even lost a game to the actual rebuilding Cavs. The Celtics team that just played was far and away a shell of the teams LeBron faced in 2008 and 2010...honestly I don't know how any sane person could argue differently. The Cavs (with their worst roster in the last few years) took those Celtics (NBA champions and best of the last few years) to the final minute of game 7 and then inexplicably crumbled between Games 4 and 6 (LeBron included) against last year's Celtics who were EC champions after giving them their WORST home loss in franchise history (a detail many tend to forget) in Game 3. Certainly a team playing at least at a comparable level to last year's Cavs would've disposed of the 2011 Celtics. Let's not forget the Cavs experience quite a bit of bad luck last year (much like the Celtics this year) with the late season injury to Shaq causing him and Jamison to play together in only 1 game before the playoffs (and for good measure I'll even point out LBJ's elbow which supposedly hampered him ). Who knows how that series would've played out had Shaq (who was playing his best bball of the season to that point had not gotten his hand messed up by Big Baby.

You mention that 4 of the best 5 players on the court last year in that series were wearing Celtics green. Is that dramatically different from 3 of the best players on the court THIS YEAR were still wearing Celtic green? Heck Z was still the starter on this team for most of the season. In my opinion LeBron had plenty of reasons to leave Cleveland. Wanted to play with his friends, wanted to live in warm weather, wanted a change of scenery from a place he's live for 26 years, wanted to party in south beach, new challenge, etc....but a reason certainly wasn't that he couldn't have won a title in Cleveland. Much like Jordan in the late 80s they were just beginning to break through.

Link to Pat Riley's bug? Was it collusion when the 5 or 6 teams went to Cleveland to "recruit" LeBron? You don't think other players talk and try to get others to join them?

Who won NBA executive of the year this year? And who votes on that award?

Now WHY would Lebron want to beat the Celts last year? Kinda puts a chink in your "exit strategy" if your excuse is "I had a shitty supporting cast" and you're coming off a championship.

Exactly again!! If you watched Game 6 Lebron hit 2- 3's back to back to make it 78-74 C's with 9:34 left in the game. He then proceeds to take 2 shots the next 7+ minutes of the game and then its over. The announcers made comments on it more than once. Your fighting for your Playoff life and your on fire, the C's are struggling, and you stop shooting all of a sudden in the 4th quarter????

It is if they are doing it DURING the season while he's under contract.

Nice try but, AGAIN, you lose. Lebron has NOBODY but HIMSELF to blame for the players they brought in. Read back to my posts about him "hand picking/signing off on" Larry Hughes, Damon Jones, Donyell Marshall, Ben Wallace, Wallyworld, Shaq, Jamison, etc." ALL players Lebron WANTED. It's not the Cavs front office' problems that Lebron couldn't get it done. And then LeBitch has the AUDACITY to imply his supporting cast "wasn't good enough" when HE picked/approved them. Man, you have selective memory to suit your argument.

Did Kobe quit this year during the Mavs series?

Sounds like cheating to me. And you are a fan of the Cavs? SMH. You make up cute nicknames too.

No surprise here. SQ now posting, because things are going his way. He will go in hiding once everyone makes fun of him boo hoo. Also nothing new here with Lotz trying to fit LeBron's penis in his mouth, even though he was a LeBron hater before he went to the heat. smh. If SQ was still posting when I started the bandwagon fan competition, he would have won in a landslide. He is a complete joke of sports fan, and I am sure he is a complete joke of a business "owner."

Anyway, I said it before, and I will say it again, trading away Kendrick Perkins was the dumbest move this year, and maybe the past 5 seasons. I always said Danny Ainge is not that good of a gm, he just lucked out by getting a gift of a deal to get KG, and this season proves that.

WTF are you talking about? I already debunked this bullshit argument. I don't know why I'm wasting time with you because I'm not trying to change your mind really--I actually don't want your mind to change. Keep hating, it's fuel for the fire. And the fire is burning hotter than ever right now.

Cheating how? These were guys that were tradeable. There was no collusion. The only FA was Larry Hughes and I frankly think he was the "chopped liver" choice of the FA's that year after they whiffed on Ray Allen, Michael Redd & Joe Johnson.

I'm sure that's LeBron's fault too right? That none of those players came to Cleveland. Damn it LeBron, winning the MVP wasn't enough. Putting up historically great numbers wasn't enough! You had to win Executive of the Year too!

You "debunked" nothing. It's common knowledge he wanted/signed off on these guys.

And as far as that "fire" goes? I hear ointment might work.

There was def collusion, problem is that it isn't illegal for players. I really dont like the nba game anymore anyway...so this lebron shit is more comical than anything. Kobe seems to be the last of the players that aren't buddy-buddy with the opposition.

The only thing that sucks for me is that lebron was that guy that the kids could look up to...and after all this, you keep getting confirmation from anyone that met him that he is a piece of shit.

Umm...Allen & Redd stayed with their respective clubs for max contracts (an extra $20 million) and I'm pretty sure Joe Johnson was part of a sign & trade to Atlanta. But, since you mentioned it, Redd was kinda pissed/disappointed that Lebron "no showed" to pick him up at the airport because he was "too busy."

LeBron did have a triple double in Game 6, but he also had 9 turnovers. Sorry, but you can't win on the road in the playoffs when the focal point of your offense has 9 turnovers. The Celtics were not the better team (as shown by the 30 point win in Boston in Game 3). The Cavs just had bad luck with injuries, an untimely horrible game from LeBron, and faced a Celtics team that was peaking at the right time. SQ you actually helped my case by bringing up Tommy T. Yet another huge difference between this year's Celtics and the ones of old. He definitely made an impact (just look at the difference between the Bulls and Celtics defensively).

Look, I really think LeBron went to Miami because he knew he didn't have certain leadership capabilities. Now he gets to sit back and do what he does best and stuff the stat sheet while Wade maintains leadership of the team and takes the pressure off LeBron at the end of games. Like I said before LBJ is like A-Rod going to the Yankees (with Wade as Jeter of course). LeBron will always be the better player, but Wade will always be the better leader, will always be the heart and soul of the Miami Heat, and will always have 1 more ring. The Cavs were built as well as any team could be around LeBRon's talents, but the fact is that LeBron can't be the centerpiece of a championship team...I think he can certainly play a huge role, but you can't build a team around him.

This. No wonder why lotz likes him now. He found out he has something in common.
