It's actually the exact opposite for me...I probably won't even visit this thread anymore because i'm not a big fan of jizz and you've left so much of lebron's jizz that didn't fully enter your mouth around here that it's making me sick.

This logic is flawed. Wade and LBJ are among the league's best attackers of the rim and put a lot of pressure on defenses in the paint. Who on the Celtics drives and looks to score? Rondo is their best attacker but he is more interested in getting open jumpers for KG, Pierce, or Allen than he is in getting all the way to the rim.

And just so everyone knows, I'm sitting at my desk wearing a Dwight Howard slam dunk champ t-shirt right now.

Actually no, it's not just Lebron's jizz you're gargling...did I hear Joel Anthony being a stud? Jesus Christ this isn't a 1 on 1 thing, this is a full on bukkake. I'm gonna start calling you cum dumpster.

    Oh, then that changes everything.

Interesting perspective coming from a Kobe supporter.

    MUCH better....

There needs to be no counter point to that. Nothing needs to be said.

"the Heat have the best defense in the league"

Not if you look at the stats for points against and opposing team FG%, its Chicago.

"but don't tell me the Heat need help from the officials"

Lebron and wade have shot 163 FT's between them in the Playoffs...almost as many as the entire Celtic team in the Playoffs.
Joel Anthony is a stud, he does his job VERY well--you don't have to be a future HOF to be a stud. He does just what they need him to do and comes up BIG in big time situations. If you disagree then the simple argument against you is that you haven't watched the Heat much, if at all. Which I'm sure is the case. There is a reason they chant MVP for him.

Stats are nice, but ranking defenses is hard to do with stats--much harder than offenses. Match ups, key players at different positions, there are too many variables. Bottom line is, the Heat have two guys underneath who can hold their own (Anthony and Bosh) and two of the best/most versatile perimeter defenders in the league. AND they play great team defense. They're right up there in the stats too, splitting hairs almost. Chicago is most definitely a good defensive team. There are quite a few good defensive teams.

LeBron and Wade are two of the most productive guys in the league when it comes to getting to the line, the foul count shouldn't surprise anyone. They drive the lane hard and the only thing you can do a lot of times is foul them. The Celtics are not nearly as aggressive on offense. I can't believe you would ever question my basketball IQ and make a statement like that as if it shows that the officials are in the Heat corner.

He handcuffed the franchise with his expected diva treatment for him and his "entourage" and he made NO attempt to bring anyone (recruit) of value here. The moment he hits Miami he's suddenly on the recruiting trail? Guy is a POS.

At least NOW, with him gone, Gilbert & Grant can do things the "Cavalier way", not the "Lebron way." It won't come quickly but at least they will be able to BUILD, not panick and try to turn over the roster 3x's in FIVE years to get LBJ his ring. The clown held this team hostage. Good riddance to bad garbage.

And don't take this in a way that I don't think he's an uber talented athlete, because he is but he's a POS person.

That's fine you can have your opinion, but you're wrong. LeBron leaving Cleveland did not help that franchise in ANY WAY. You can say that all you want, fact is the only people who will agree are other Cleveland fans. And LeBron DID try to get people to come play with him in Cleveland, problem is they didn't want to play there. Bosh refused to go to Cleveland. Just admit it, you hate him for how he left but you hate him BECAUSE he left too. It's stupid to say, "I don't hate that he left, I just hate how he did it"--you're only kidding yourself, you hate that he left too.

That's fine, you've rarely ever contributed much to a discussion anyways. I'd be willing to bet that the Pro Sports forum has gotten a lot less attention when I'm not here as compared to when I'm here. ESPECIALLY NBA threads.

Wade and LBJ are among the best floppers at the rim....

I honestly can't believe that so many people hate on things that I say but don't destroy guys like skyhook for saying things like that. I mean, that's as ridiculous as saying that Osama Bin Laden was the best thing that ever happened to the US. It's literally the same thing, the truth is the EXACT opposite.

Knowing what I know about Lebron NOW, I'm very glad he left. Dude is a turd. Team has been good before he got here, they'll be good again.

Open your eyes fuckhead...this thread is 1,000 replies long, and it had nothing to do with anyone named SQ or 'The Boss' (cool fuckin name by the way..I remember in high school when I'd call myself the boss)
  • GOONx19
Based on your criteria for DPOY (being able to guard all five positions) there will never be a center or point guard win the award. You can't discredit a defender due to who they're matched up against.

Never were as good as they were with him in the past, and they'll never be that good again unless they find a player as good or better than LeBron in the DRAFT. Good luck with that one!

Bullshit ! Don't care if they never made it to the Finals, the teams of Price, Daugherty, Nance, Hot Rod, Ehlo, etc were WAY better than the Lebron Cavs. Those teams would have won multiple championships had some guy who wore #23 in Chicago had not been around. The "Clown" and his court bowed out earlier FAR too much.

Don't make stupid carte blance statements about Cleveland teams when you know NOTHING about their non-Lebron past, nuthugger.

Who the hell buys a slam dunk contest tshirt. Haha. Are you 7?? Do you have a heat tshirt with looney tunes characters on it too??
  • Hb31187
Idk about multiple titles, they might of won one though. The Blazers, Jazz and Warriors were all pretty damn good in the early 90's when Ehlo and company were in Cleveland. Guess its impossible to really say what would of happened though
  • The Boss
Shoulda, coulda, woulda. Blah, blah, blah.

And I buy a slam dunk contest t-shirt when it showcases Dwight Howard with his Superman cape on because it's hilarious. You can talk down on my wardrobe all you want, I'll bet half of it that that half is more impressive than your entire wardrobe. Point was I don't hate Dwight Howard. I'm not trying to sound awesome for having it.

Put it this way, without Jordan...Cleveland, Indy, Utah, Protland, etc would all probably have at least 1 if not 2titles in their cities.
