Ok, if you can assume the Steelers score on that drive I can assume that the Steelers would not have scored when they were given the free first down. Given those circumstances the Steelers would have been down 22-10 on the final drive and the TD would have been meaningless. -

Didn't watch the game. Prove that there was excessive holding.Non;608726 wrote:it was clear as day, the dude had his hands tugging on the jersey because he had been beaten

Nonthey should call the teams back to Pittsburgh and finish the game again
Steelers have the ball inside the 10 after the holding because the ball was in the air so it was at the spot
30-45 seconds left
just as they earned without the refs stepping in and making sure the Jets held on because they had already lost two in a row and they didn't want the New York team to collapse -

But yet somehow, they were still down inside the 10 and COULD NOT get the job done.
Let me guess...there were holding calls on the final 2 throws too?? -

Are you serious with this post? -

Absolutely. -

Then how the fuck can you comment?!
They MADE the call earlier in the game against Cromartie, which was an even lesser tug at the jersey, yet miss it at the end of the game? That is my main gripe.... inconsistency. -
wildcats20justincredible;608741 wrote:Absolutely.
Only holds I saw were from the O Line.
But since the refs are out to get the Steelers and there is a conspiracy out there, they didn't call them.... -
justincredibleIs everyone fine with me moving this to the basement and starting a new thread that is 100% on topic about the Carolina game? I don't want to go through and clean this one up.

It's easy. I type in the little box below and hit reply.Automatik;608742 wrote:Then how the fuck can you comment?!

What does me not watching the game have anything to do with Non being able to prove that excessive holding took place? -

Go for it. -
Ironman92Everyone understand your point......I agree with just about everything you've been posting about.........but after 1 or 2 posts you're just feeding the bears....and the bears have endless appetites.
Man you've gotta move on. -

I was referring to the call that your previous reply was in regards to. It was a hold, no doubt about it. If you would have watched you would have agreed. -
Laley23At least holding is a subjective call, more or less.
The Colts had Jacksonville score on a punt return after the guy signaled for a fair catch! -
justincredibleI really wish I would have dvr'd this game. I want to go back and watch every single play and take note of every single hold on every single play.
-
JesterThanks, but only I can determine whether or not i'd agree with it. To say that the league is out to get the Steelers is laughable, IMO.

I agree, I don't think they are out to get them. I just think the officials need to get their heads out of their asses. You can't call that ticky tack hold earlier in the game and then blow an obvious one on the final drive. Its bush league.
Its the fucking best pro league on the planet and they can't get the officiating straight? -

I think so, actually.
But if they had called the blatant, obvious holding that would've been like 30 more seconds. -

They're human. It's part of the game. Calls are missed in every game, every week. If you don't want the officials to have an impact in the game, then don't put the outcome in their hands. The Steelers got beat by the Jets. Not the Jets+the officials+the league+the weather+whatever the hell else people could complain about.Automatik;608764 wrote:I agree, I don't think they are out to get them. yeah it's not subjective when the receiver has the CB burnt by three yards and the CB is pulling on the jersey from keeping him catching a winning touchdown
that's holding all the way
so the refs just cheated in this case and that's why it tarnishes the entire game -
justincredibleNon, please respond to this post.

I'd rather the game be decided by the teams rather than the officials, so yep. -

Three yards? The CB has a 9 foot arm in order to tug on the jersey? -
AutomatikI agree, you don't give up the opening kick for a TD and you are in the money. It still doesn't give an excuse for poor officiating.

HeathAlum21I am just amazed how Non can even type when he is so busy masturbating to a photograph of Polamalu.
