Week 16: Baltimore Ravens (10-4) @ Cleveland Browns (5-9)

Very good point. Fujita was very important to the defense and was playing at a very high level.

I wish I was going to the game. I just bet my buddy 20 bucks that the Ravens would win. He is going to the game. I told him just to stop at my house and pay me on his way home. Ha

I really can't see the Browns pulling this one out.

Browns are due for a good game, I think.

They lost to the Bills and Bengals.

But they have gotten up for the bigger games.
  • bigdaddy2003
It should be a decent game but I don't think the Browns will pull it out.

Yeah, I would tend to agree with bigdaddy.

I think it's going to be a lot closer than most think, but the Ravens will pull it out. And I also think that Hillis has another great day against Baltimore.

Not sure about Hillis going off....seems like everyone is just gearing in on him since the rest of the offense is inept. I would not be shocked if the Browns do not score at all.

Yeah, I don't think Baltimore will shut him down totally but I don't see him having as good of a game as he did the first time around.

McCoy had pretty good numbers last week, even though they didn't score many points.

    19-for-25, 243 yards, 2 TDs and 0 INTs

I doubt Hillis will run like he did last time. It's going to take solid running and passing. McCoy will compete being a rookie trying to prove himself. It's just a matter of how many other Browns players are looking to finish strong or if they're ready for the offseason.

    Browns' Wright done for season

BEREA, Ohio (AP) - Browns cornerback Eric Wright will miss Cleveland's final two games with a left leg injury.

Wright got hurt in Sunday's 19-17 loss at Cincinnati. Coach Eric Mangini said Wright won't play again this season for the Browns (5-9), who will host Baltimore and Pittsburgh. Mangini does not know if the four-year veteran will need surgery.

Wright was already battling a knee injury when he got hurt. Wright, who lost his starting job a few weeks ago to rookie Joe Haden, couldn't put any pressure on his leg as he was helped off the field but was later walking around on the sideline.

He was expected to undergo an MRI on Monday.

HOW ON EARTH CAN WE PLAY THE RAVENS WITHOUT WRIGHT!!!!!????!!!!!!!!111 [/sarcasm]

since the browns aren't winning the division, i really hope they let mccoy throw 30 times or so. **** it, lets see what the kid can do. no use on running the ball 25 times.

They pretty much did that vs the bengals.

I'll say the Ravens win 23-13

I don't see an upset but if you look at the entire season, the Browns have mostly been in every game.
  • bigdaddy2003
    I say Ravens 28 Browns 13.

Just a reminder: Baltimore remains the NFL's most illegitimate franchise. It was acquired and built on lies and bribery.

In case anyone has forgotten. :)

Could you inform me of why Modell left in the first place? I'm young and I honestly can't say I ever knew why he left Cleveland.
  • ytownfootball
He was pissed about the Tribe having a new stadium and wanted Mayor White and the city to build one for him, he got a high hard fuck you took his ball and ran home. That's the abridged version of course.

time for Cleveland to get some payback!
  • bigdaddy2003
So he had a legit reason to leave.

How are you a Baltimore fan without knowing their history?
bigdaddy2003;609520 wrote:So he had a legit reason to leave.

No, he was a dumb fuck and always lost money. Cleveland was eventually going to get a new football stadium.
  • bigdaddy2003
I don't need to know the history of why Modell left Cleveland to be a Raven's fan.

No...it just wasn't going to be as soon as he wanted. He was seeing how well things were being run in the Indians organization and was jealous as hell. He loaded buses in the middle of the night and pulled out at dawn, no warning, bitch move.
