    could be

also both QBs try to extend plays so that leads to extra hits but that shouldn't matter if they're late hits or to the head

What link are you looking for? I never claimed there was a "conspiracy"....just bad officiating. Do you agree?

If another QB took a couple of those same shots they'd be out for the season.

Obviously there is no link to it because the NFL will deny it but it's clear they're allowing it to be open season on him.

    You are hilarious...

    That's why.

If I claimed the league had some sort of conspiracy against the Jets I'd expect to get some shit for it too. Bad calls go against every team. It happens.

Yes, the officiating is ridiculously bad. Non was the one claiming conspiracy.

I didn't claim that. It's just that this stuff is overtaking a thread about the Jets-Steelers game. Maybe an NFL officiating thread should be started.

Anyways, there are some fans of every team who complain about calls going against them. That "happens" too.

I'm not sure what you should call it.

Conspiracy might be replaced with something else. All I know is the Steelers have been getting a raw deal on the hits to the quarterback. It's pretty clear if you watch the games and are unbiased about it.

We have a winner...Every team in the league gets their share of bad calls. Thats part of the game...Play on.

You're hilarious for picking eight favorite teams.

What are you in, third grade?

Everyone involved gets one more "pissing match" post and then back to the game. :)

Steelers don't play till 4pm. Why talking Ravens/Saints on this thread?
  • THE4RINGZ
I think the whole "giving the on field officials more power to decide clean v. dirty hits and make the calls accordingly" rules have gone on to become the cluster fuck most of us predicted it would.

I'm not saying the Steelers haven't played on and haven't overcame the officiating.

They have. They're more resilient than most teams.

But I still point it out because I think it's obvious.

Umm, because it's important to the Steelers as they and Baltimore both still have a chance at the AFC North crown. Seems relevant. And it's not a springboard for a pissing match either.

Baltimore winning would take a lot away from this game for the Steelers
  • killer_ewok
Saints score late in the half. 21-14 Ravens
  • Tiger2003
TD Jets.....wow what a fucking shitty start.....97 KO return.

    7-0 Jets

    just like that
  • killer_ewok
