Recommend some golf clubs...

One I forgot to mention was Legendary Run, which is over on the east side, maybe 15 minutes from California. It is a beautiful course but is pretty tough as well. I'd recommend that one for this summer once you get in a rhythm.

Any other golfers from Cincy on here? Could maybe get a foursome some weekend or something. If I'm not working then I'm up for golf, so any weeknight or weekend is good with me.
    I'll check out Legendary Run.

I'd definitely be up for getting a foursome together.

My buddy and I just stumbled upon it on a weeknight after work last fall, and we were amazed at how nice the place is. Their prices are pretty good for how nice it is, and tt also is the only course I've ever played that has a 19th hole. It is an actual hole, about 165 over water, which is pretty cool.

Any other golfers on here from Cincy? I'm always up for a round around 6pm or so during the week and then if I'm free on a weekend. Maybe next weekend or the weekend after we can hit up someplace. You live over near Hyde Park right justin?

    Yeah, Hyde Park.

I'll be out of town for sure the weekend after next. Not sure about next weekend yet, but I'll probably be around. I'm also cool with a 6pm tee time during the week.

Just played 9 at California. The greens were really bumpy but other than that it was a nice course. I didn't keep score but I was hitting the ball really well, just couldn't putt.

    justin,

Glad you thought it was a nice course aside from the greens. That is definitely the weakest part of quite a few of the courses I mentioned, but usually they aren't too bad.

Played my 9 at Woodland. Hit some decent shots, but short game and putting just aren't there yet. I'm feeling more confident in putting but just aren't hitting any outside of 5 feet, then again I've never been able to hit those. :)

I have the 2008 model. The silver head. I haven't switched yet. I love the burner drivers. Driver is the only club I can control perfectly. I swear if I had any type of 2nd shot and short game, I would be a decent golfer.

I went to Dicks today to get fitted but the Pro wasn't in. I am either going to go back tomorrow when he is in or head up to Golf Galaxy since they'll have a much bigger selection.

Tried hitting a pretty wide array of clubs today and couldn't get away from the Ping G5's. They felt absurdly good. A little ugly but I love that they aren't the polished finish. They gave me a quote of 4 weeks buy said they usually come in quicker than that. I hit a couple drivers but decided to wait on buying one.

I wouldn't hesitate to pick up these G5's for $392
