Buckethead is awesome. I like Joe Satriani's 'Crushing Day'.

    Other greats are

    Vinnie Moore
Jason Becker (sad what happened to him, Lou Gehrig's disease. Could have been the greatest)
Steve Vai (porbably the most technically sound guitarist in the world right now, trained under Satriani)
    Eric Johnson
    John Petrucci
    Paul Gilbert
  • KnightXC1
    Eruption
    Freebird
    Voodoo Child
  • Jamesdster
Frampton....at the end of Do You Fell Like We Do
  • namod65
Just about any song that Buckethead or Satriani do could be on the greatest solo list. They're almost all instrumentals so they're pretty much solos the whole song. IMO they are the two best guitarists out there.
