If you won the lottery

Other than "make it rain 24x7" and playing 300 holes of golf a week, if enough money was dropped on you where it was no longer is a concern, what would you actually do with your life?

I would sell the business and enroll in culinary school. After graduation, I'd open a small gastropub.

Over dinner the other nite, this was a discussion. I said that I would be dead in less than a year. Too
many bad things that I would like to do if I had the money.

I would buy season tickets to the Browns, Cavs and Indians...and that's all I know.

    1. Debt free
    2. Give every family member 500k, and say that is it. No more asking for money.
    3. Finish the last 6 years of my Naval career.
    4. Coach Little League baseball, biddy league football, and youth wrestling for the rest of my days.

I'd help out the people who have helped me out over the year, buy a big boat, start an affordable charter fishing company, have another home in Florida on the water for the winter months in Ohio.

Get a piece of land and open a Pontiac farm to save all of the Firebirds, Trans Ams, Goats and other models I like that I could for other enthusiasts and just have fun restoring cars.

I don't know if a lot would change in our lives. I would keep working just maybe not as much. Maybe longer vacations while the kids are still in the house and before they leave for college.

Quit work, do something I enjoy, help out some of my family that needs it more then me, give some to the Church I grew up in. Buy a home or 2. And do a ton of traveling.

    1. Pay off all debt
    2. Pay off the largest single debt each immediate family member owes with the stipulation that they NEVER come to me for future financial help.
    3. Set aside a college fund for each kid with the stipulation that that aid is contingent upon getting a B average or better.
    4. Donate a significant sum to my church.
    5. Travel to Europe, Australia, and Israel.
    6. Buy the world's fastest available personal computer, hook it up to the faster available ISP, and watch my money grow on-line.
    7. Chair a local volunteer agency.
    8. Match donations for the local Toys for Tots program.
    9. Buy a quality comfortable ride.
    10. Make home improvements.

if I won north of 150 Million I would pay off my debt from school, invest half. I would use my degree and work in marketing until I got bored at which time I would retire and spend the rest of the money traveling.

I would sit on the porch and watch the rat race each morning knowing I won't be apart of it.
I would buy my woman the tits she/I have been wanting.

Pay off debts(credit cards, school loans)
    Invest
Give some to charity, but not a lot. Yeah I'm a cheap bastard
    Season tickets:
Floor seats at the Dean Dome
    Reds
    OSU football

And then maybe I'd give some to my parents. But what's the point in that? I'll get it back when they pass and neither one really needs it right now.

And then you'd take me on a vacation? ;)

    I often think about this....

I would buy a house for my parents and sister, and set aside enough money for my brother to buy one when he's old enough (contingent upon graduation from Ohio State). I'd get a nice place in Arlington and probably a winter house in Florida somewhere with a boat. I'd travel a lot and give some money to a few charities. I'd play in the WSOP. I'd also probably go to Vegas and put a million on red, just because I could (not sure if they'd let me...). I'd buy a new truck, sports car, and probably an old convertible for cruisin. My basement would be a full gym, and I would have the dopest man cave also. I would walk into my work and tell everyone I don't like to SMD, and those I do like I would give some cash to. I wouldn't give any to my aunts/uncles/cousins because they never helped out my parents or us when I was younger...so fuck em. I would fill a pool with coins and swim in it a la Scrooge McDuck. And finally, I would donate enough money to OSU to have something named after me and get season tix to OSU football games (and a dope parking spot) for life.

Also, my best friends wouldnt work any more either. I would pay them six figures a year to just be my entourage.

Travel the world with friends and make it rain internationally!

Pay off my own debts and those of my brother, his fiance, my parents, and my in-laws.

Give 10% to our local church plant.

Invest in my own, home-based, online business ("lay-off-proof" myself).

Invest in founding a non-profit that is dedicated to helping Karen (Burmese tribe) refugees integrate themselves into the North Akron community.

Invest the rest w/ an acquaintance of mine who owns an investment firm.

    Often thought about this.
Build a state of the Art Athletic Complex at the HS I coach at.
Build My three kids a house. Deposit 1 million each so they can spend the interest.
Invest half of the rest and do what ever I wanted for the rest of my life.

I would definately go to work at least the next day. ;)
