Why the fuck do I have more reps than this man? You guys are idiots.Tiger2003;1235778 wrote:Seriously!?!?! You have no clue what you are talking about. You are really just making an ass out of yourself. I have a brother who was killed in action. I have another brother who is in Afghan as we speak and I lost my leg because of this war. But if you really believe I would ask for someone's seat you are fucking nuts. As a Vet we are the ones who are supposed to give up our seat. I don't want special treatment, I don't want any of that shit. I'm no better then anyone else on here or in this country. The American Hero shit drives me nuts, I can't change what people say to me. I just say Thank you and walk away. I am the one who joined up nobody forced me to do so.
Just please quit talking.
Thanks -

isadoreno one on this thread knows the veteran who sal patronzied then turned down. he did not claim that seat as a veteran, he did not tell anyone he was a veteran, his gf\wife did after sal initial negative reaction. we do not know the reason he asked for the seat, again he may have been exhausted, may have been sick, may have been feeling the effects of a disability. all we know for sure is that sal turned him down, then came to this site and ridiculed the man, his service and the war he fought in.

anybody who says "yo let me sit down", veteran or not, doesnt deserve to have the seat given to them. If he had a legitimate reason, he could have brought it up,and there is still something called manners. He was probably being a lazy fuck.isadore;1235818 wrote:no one on this thread knows the veteran who sal patronzied then turned down. he did not claim that seat as a veteran, he did not tell anyone he was a veteran, his gf\wife did after sal initial negative reaction. we do not know the reason he asked for the seat, again he may have been exhausted, may have been sick, may have been feeling the effects of a disability. all we know for sure is that sal turned him down, then came to this site and ridiculed the man, his service and the war he fought in. -
isadoreno what a decent person might have done at the time was ask, "are you feeling ok?" of course sal wouldn't consider it.

Lmao. His girlfriend or wife is the one who said blah blah blah he is a war vet. If he couldn't stand maybe he should be in a wheelchair. -
isadorethat is right he did not say he was a veteran, she did.
you noticed he asked to sit down, did not ask for his gf/wife, but she came rapidly to his defense when he was refused. Again he according to sal's account never said anything about his service.
which would lead us to believe there was a strong reason why he needed to sit down. injury or illness that could be bothering anyone who might then ask for a seat.
a decent person would have asked him if he was feeling ok. -

If the guy had any manners he would not have said "yo let me sit down". And again his friend should just shut the fuck up. She never once said anything about a injury. Also she said was blah blah blah. -
isadoreshe was defending him, what a gf should do.
blah, blah, blah is just mr sal's definition of what she said, that is not very specific.
The guy made an unusual request, under those circumstance a decent person would ask why, are you feeling ok.
and what does good ole sal do, turns him down while laughing on the inside, then comes here to brag, give his one sided description of the event and mock out a vet, his experiences and the war. -
RotinajIf there was a good reason he needed to sit down he should of said what it was. Not this yo let me sit down!! Now kindly gfy isadore.
-
isadorea decent person would have asked him
"are you feeling ok?" -
Tiger2003
It is the way he asked. "yo let me sit down" Like I said if the guys can't walk or stand maybe he should be in a wheelchair. They really sound like some pieces of shit. If they guy would have said man Im not feeling very well can I please sit down, Im sure anyone would give up their seat. Even if he was not a vet.isadore;1235884 wrote:she was defending him, what a gf should do.

No one knows that anymore than you know whether or not the guy was actually a vet.isadore;1235818 wrote:no one on this thread knows the veteran who sal patronzied then turned down. -

^^^THIS.
'Well maybe he was in so much pain that he was disoriented so bad that he forgot how to ask politely and blurted out the first thing that came in his mind. Poor guy. Way to be considerate sal.'

I love how it went from Vet to possible illness or injury. What other straws will be grabbed next??? Maybe a race or religion card might work... -
isadore
straws, interesting view point that you would consider this so far out of bounds. gosh on one side we have the possibility of acting decently, just asking, "are you feeling alright?" if the answer is yes, no reason to offer the seat, if the answer is no, i would think you should do it. do unto others and that kind of stuff you consider last straws.Curly J;1235894 wrote:^^^THIS.

gosh a ruddies, I guess that is par for the course being more worried about being called by a possibly androgynous term than whether you were acting in this incident as a decent human beingSportsAndLady;1235961 wrote:MY NAME IS NOT SAL -
