QUestion that may be in this thread but cannot find it.

Do they flip a coin for the super regionals on whom is home team? I thought it usually was Host team, away team, host team for home team in the series but KSU was home last night...coulda swore they were home the other night when Iw atched.

Yeah, Kent was home for games 2 and 3, not sure how it works

I believe home team is home 1st game, visitors are home team 2nd game. They flip for 3rd game.

The Florida Gators already have a win in Omaha, and they don't play until tomorrow. Catcher Mike Zunino won the Dick Howser Trophy, college baseball's Heisman. Mike's dad is a scout in Florida for the Cincinnatti Reds. Mike was drafted 3rd overall by Seattle in the recent draft. Congrats Z !

Not going as well in the CWS so far, 3-1 Arkansas in the 6th.

Arkansas' pitcher has some filthy stuff. Kent has 2 hits and 1 was a HR to finally get them on the board in the 6th.

Kent never had a chance in the game with the inconsistency (read: BAD) of the the home plate umpire. Strikes are strikes, no matter what team is pitching.

Not saying it would have changed the outcome of this game, but Starn couldn't get a strike call to save his life.

It wouldn't have made a difference given the way the Arkansas P was dealing, but that ump was ALL OVER THE PLACE, for both sides.
