Held without food or water for 4 days, and left in a holding cell with meth -
tcarrier32disgusting.
-
THE4RINGZWas the holding cell well out of the way that no one noticed him? Seems a little odd to me.
-
FatHobbitThere is no excuse for leaving him there for four days, but I don't think my reaction would be to try to kill myself with my glasses and/or eat random packets of powder I found on the ground in my cell.
-
I Wear PantsOh look, another one of the countless reasons that the drug war is indefensible.
-
vball10setThis falls into the "don't believe everything you read" category...something's just not right about this story.
-
Raw Dawgin' itshit happens, maybe he shouldn't have put himself in the position to be picked up by the DEA in the first place.

Even if it's entirely false the drug war is still entirely ineffective, a waste of money, and promotes violence. Needs to end.vball10set;1160083 wrote:This falls into the "don't believe everything you read" category...something's just not right about this story. -

With that logic, I hope you don't get caught speeding today.Raw Dawgin' it;1160084 wrote:shit happens, maybe he shouldn't have put himself in the position to be picked up by the DEA in the first place. -
Steel Valley FootballI'm with Raw Dawgin....his own bad choices put him in that holding cell. Tough luck buddy.
-
justincrediblelol, yeah, anyone caught smoking weed should be detained without food and water for four days.

Just sayin that the DEA isn't 100% to blame for this. Don't get caught in a drug raid, how hard is that to do?justincredible;1160099 wrote:lol, yeah, anyone caught smoking weed should be detained without food and water for four days. -
justincredibleAnyone that breaks the law should be held for days without food or water. No way should the DEA be held liable for their negligence. Criminals have no rights.

They are 100% to blame for the kid being left in a cell for four days. Once that kid is locked away his well being is out of his control. The DEA failed to provide the kid with basic necessities. That is 100% on them.Raw Dawgin' it;1160105 wrote:Just sayin that the DEA isn't 100% to blame for this. Don't get caught in a drug raid, how hard is that to do?
Yeah, he is to blame for being detained, but that is a completely separate issue. -

He did something illegal and things fall through the cracks - bet he won't be doin any drugs anytime soon.justincredible;1160106 wrote:Anyone that breaks the law should be held for days without food or water. No way should the DEA be held liable for their negligence. Criminals have no rights.
But he'll sue and win, which is what i'd do too. But i don't feel bad, DEA has more important things to do. -

Does the crime matter? I think it does.justincredible;1160107 wrote:They are 100% to blame for the kid being left in a cell for four days. Once that kid is locked away his well being is out of his control. The DEA failed to provide the kid with basic necessities. That is 100% on them.

Maybe, maybe not. The kid was smoking marijuana. He wasn't hurting anyone.Raw Dawgin' it;1160111 wrote:Does the crime matter? I think it does. -
THE4RINGZI will be repping Raw on this one. Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.

The the crime totally does matter - i think because people thing pot should be legal there is some outrage, if he were a dealer or gang muscle no one would care, IMOjustincredible;1160114 wrote:Maybe, maybe not. The kid was smoking marijuana. He wasn't hurting anyone. -

Speeding doesn't usually land you in jail. Just sayin'.FatHobbit;1160087 wrote:With that logic, I hope you don't get caught speeding today. -
justincredibleWow, I can't believe people are fine with someone essentially being left in their cell to die for a non-violent crime. Hopefully no one you know or love is ever arrested for something minor and just left die.

Whether you agree with a law or not, it is still a law until it is not.justincredible;1160114 wrote:Maybe, maybe not. The kid was smoking marijuana. He wasn't hurting anyone. -
