Still shocking none the less -
HereticDamn. That's crazy. Dude was a beast on the field.
-
SonofanumpI think that he had some mental problems, so it might be self inflicted. Hope no one else is hurt (i.e. his kids).
-
thavoiceSays possible suicide.
You know what will come next......the head injury issue in the NFL. -
thavoiceand we all should be ashamed that no one posted this yet from that same page

Maybe if it was Ryan Seacrest dancing in a speedo you would be more interested in it. -
stroupsThat makes 8 people from the 1994 chargers that have died.

Also, he put it in his chest. Obviously wanted them to study his brain. Smart suicide? -

Shit, I didn't know that--who are they?stroups;1160006 wrote:That makes 8 people from the 1994 chargers that have died. -
THE4RINGZIn 2010 Seau drove his car off a cliff, and later said he fell asleep at the wheel.
At any rate, a very sad loss for football fans. 20 seasons is quite an accomplishment. -
Early Cuylerdude had some mental issues, like durkie said, obviously he was trying to save his brain. Still a sad situation nonetheless

mellaSucks for his family. Sounds like he is 1-1 in suicide to suicide attempts. Too bad he did not get help back in 2010. I know there has been a lot of news with former football players and brain injuries but I wonder if "they" have looked at the brains of nonfootball players who commit suicide to see if they have abnormalties as well.

So you're wondering if scientists are using a control group? I sometimes wonder if mechanics use tools when working on cars.mella;1160103 wrote:Sucks for his family. Oh, yeah I am pretty sure he meant his record was 1-1 on suicide attempts. I thought there was another failed suicide attempt out there I hadn't heard, which is why I questioned it.vball10set;1160169 wrote:he attempted twice, but succeeded once -
Fly4Fun1-1 or 1-2 both work. With sports it's usually "Win-Loss" Not "Win-Games." But you're way works to because it's more about attempts "Shots/Passes Made - Attempts."
So it's just how you think about it. -

This is where I came with the second attempt (actually, the first chronologically)--I took 4ringz post as implying that this incident may be veiwed as a 'failed attempt'.DeyDurkie5;1160186 wrote:Oh, yeah I am pretty sure he meant his record was 1-1 on suicide attempts.
