No, there would be no need to screw every 8". You could just let the flooring float across the new joist or If you are worried about the floor not being nailed to the joist, Liquid Nails makes a deck adhesive that you could use to run a bead on the new joist.justincredible;1148759 wrote:Am I going to need to screw the decking in to every joist?
