    It will depend on the angle of the boards. You will have boards running more than 20" across center if the angle is too much.

    That would be the max angle at 16" on center. You may want to angle it a little less to be on the safe side. I don't know what your building codes are in that part of the state but some may require you to make some changes with the 16" on center if you are using 5/4x6 boards. You may also notice some bounce in the floor when walking on angled boards running across 16" on center.

    Am I going to need to screw the decking in to every joist? It might look shitty having screws down every 8".

    I assumed all were the same, I.e. dropping off illegals at INS. I apologize.
