Idol 2012

I haven't watched Idol this season at all (I posted this video because it was sent to me and I thought it was pretty good). However, I do watch The Voice, and there are some amazing singers that come through there.Crimson streak;1109994 wrote:Idol will fizzle out soon. Little DannyIs it just me or is J-LO getting hotter and hotter every year?

Count me in....she's smokin hot, especially last night with the girls pushed up. -
vball10setfine wine, fella's, fine wine

HitsRusI think this is the best group talent wise that they ever have had. I have never watched X-factor or the Voice, but we've watched AI as a family for many years.
-
justincredibleI only watched 2 episodes but I thought this group was pretty weak. Phillip Phillips would get my vote if I actually gave a shit.
-
HitsRus3/15...Shannon Magrane (Pitcher Joe Magrane's daughter) goes home. Shoulda been the china guy, Heejun.
In the long run, probably doesn't matter, he'll be going soon enough. -
Ironman92I wondered if that was his daughter.
I think a few of them are improving and getting pretty good. My money is on the little blond power voice. -

Should've been the curly haired ***** -
Little Danny
The 10-13 year old girls who do all the voting disagree. They are still naive enough to think he can sing and is a hetero.bases_loaded;1118067 wrote:Should've been the curly haired *****
I thought the Heejun should have been bounced. -
THE4RINGZHeejun's personality will keep getting him votes. I don't think he is all that talented, but people like him.
-
bigdaddy2003Damn this season sucks. They may all technically have good voices but I cant truly say "damn I hope so and so doesn't get voted off." I have been able to do that every season I have watched the show. I'm glad Heejun was finally voted off.

Ironman92Sanchez drilled Whitney's "How Will I Know"
I think several of the ones left are very good at what they do. Those little girls can just kill it. -
Ironman92I like 80's night. Love the cheesy.
-
Ironman92One of the best performance nights I can remember.....most all of them drilled it.
-
THE4RINGZI see Sanchez winning it all. I do like Skylar though. But overall a very unwatchable season.

Little DannyI dig the one chick Elyse. She has a Stevie Nicks vibe about her. Her individual performance wasn't great (it was the wrong song for her), but she rocked it out on the duet with Philip. Last week she tore it up singing Led Zepplin's "Whole Lotta Love". I know she isn't going to win, but I think she will make it in the industry.
Philip Phillips (what kind of name is that, honestly) has a great future ahead of him as well.
Skylar Laine knocked it out of the park with the country version of "Wind Beneath My Wings". She'll go far in this competition and will be up for a CMA Award within a year or two.
Sanchez has a ridiculous voice when you consider she is all but 16 years old. She has been singing these Whitney Houston songs to perfection this season. AI was supposed to find talent that otherwise that never would have been discovered, I have a feeling if AI was never around she would have gotten a serious record deal on her own accord.
Joshua Ledet has a great future playing make-out music on R&B and Light Rock stations. He can go pretty far in this competition as well.
If D"Andre didn't have his hair he wouldn't be in this competition. He is this year's Sanjaya Malikar.
Holly's going home tomorrow. -

I like Holly but she is so off and on. Tonight she missed it by a mile. If that D'andre fool makes it into the top five, I will stop watching the show. I'd rather get kicked in the balls than hear him sing another note. -
rydawg5Skylar Laine is the "idol". In a sense that I think she's locked up a career in country. She has the total package for it. She could very well win the whole thing.
-
Manhattan Buckeye"If D"Andre didn't have his hair he wouldn't be in this competition. He is this year's Sanjaya Malikar."
My God, he couldn't possibly be that bad. Sanjaya's No Doubt song (something about bathwater) might have been the worst performance I've seen on the show. -
Ironman92I think Elise leaves tonight.
-
Belly35Note: The wife watch this show I just relax and drink Irish Coffee...
Bottom 3:
Elise great voice but not a TV likeable person (something about her)
D"Andre Ok hair and falsetto can only go so far (it getting old bro)
Holly to mechanical movements no music soul and is not consistent (great voice)
I think Holly will stay one more week
So Elise or D'Andre will be going tonight...
If it is D'Andre or Holly the judges will not make the save but if Elise is to go the judges will save her one more week..
My pick to go home is D'Andre this week... </SPAN> -
HitsRus^^^^agree on D'Andre. I think Elise's performance last week (Whole Lotta Love) and her duet with Phil Phillips this week will be enough to tide her over another week. Holly on the other hand, has had a few weak performances in a row.
-
bigdaddy2003I just can't get into D'Andre. He may be a good singer technically but I don't see him selling a ton of records nor can I even imagine hearing him on the radio. I think if Elyse has the lowest votes tonight she will be saved. I thought it was a pretty solid show overall.
Anyone else find J Lo's laugh annoying?
Oh and why was No Doubt the mentors for 80's week? -
Raw Dawgin' it
Formed in the 80s but popular in the 90s - technically an 80s band.bigdaddy2003;1137682 wrote:I just can't get into D'Andre.
