  I am assuming that you spent most of the time at your mom and stepdads place. That would def make a difference from the situation I am in where the boys stay with their dads most of the time.

  I did. My dad did remarry, though. My stepmom took a more passive role when it came to disciplining us but when we were at their house we were still expected to follow her rules. If we did not my dad would step in. That never really happened at all, but we knew it could and would.
