LOL, seriously? Are you that ignorant? I am saying in my post that Homeland Security and the P.A.T.R.I.O.T. Act are bad things. How did you interpret that as me being a supporter of them? Here is my post.

The great, powerful dw has spoken.. Wow you must either be unbelievable egotist or a junior high school English teacher. Those are pretty much the same thing. Of course it would help if you had any idea what you are talking about. 400,000 killed, over one million wounded and precedent setting government action.dwcrew wrote:Learn to read and comprehend (and spell for that matter) before responding to me.
The creation of agencies of questionable constitutional authority during World War II far surpasses any of the piddling efforts of the last decade. A few for example
Office of War Information control over the media and grinding out propaganda. A War Industries Board and War Manpower Board managing materials, factories and workers. Office of Price Administration rationing products and setting price and wages. Then we have Constitutional actions so said the Supreme Court that in Hirabayashi v. United States that you could set special curfews and restrict the movements of minorities and Korematsu v. United States, that you could intern 120,000 of them.
