Precisely. You should have given him the same treatment Al Bundy gave Kelly's boyfriends when he caught them all dry-humping and shit on his couch.Gameover wrote: It's one thing to date, but to be in bed at YOUR house is a huge break of trust and respect. She might be a great girl and all, but what else is she doing behind your back? That dude wouldn't have made it to far if it were me. -
Appleffl- I'm pretty sure I sent a message to him. As he was going to his car I called him over to the picnic table back behind the driveway and we had a sit-down and I did the talking. Pretty much laid it out that I thought it was wrong a "man" his age would be dating teenage girls, let alone MY daughter. Also told him that he needed to be more respectful. If he didn't get my message he's a major-league dumbass.
UPDATE++++ Daughter just came home on her way to work. She insists that he had just come over and fell asleep before I got home at 8:45am and that they broke up a week ago and are just friends now. WTF?!?!?! -

She's lying. They fucked. I know you want to believe her, but she is lying. And LJ had the correct answer. The piece of shit would wake up to the barrel of my pistol in his face.Apple wrote: ffl- I'm pretty sure I sent a message to him. I think he'd know his daughter a little more than us. I know I can tell when someone close to me is lying. I'm sure he could too.Cleveland Buck wrote: She's lying. They fucked. I know you want to believe her, but she is lying. -
kritzellApple, before you consider all the advice of "gun in da face" and "beat the shit outta him" that will just likely end up with you in jail. Not a pleasant place to raise your kid.

As far as he knows, I don't own a gun, but the man-boy is rather small in stature. I am smart enough not to let violence enter the picture ...unless as a last resort. There are much better ways to solve this issue.kritzell wrote: Apple, before you consider all the advice of "gun in da face" and "beat the shit outta him" that will just likely end up with you in jail. No one said being a dad was easy. -

Well, I hope you're right. It's hard to tell with some law-enforcement these days.LJ wrote:

Who cares what law enforcement thinks? They aren't the judge or jury. Most of the time they don't even know what the law is.kritzell wrote:

Castle Doctrine. You wouldn't go to jail that night. "Officer there wasn't supposed to be anyone in my house and I was afraid that he was intending to kill my daughter".kritzell wrote:

If the cops got called out to the house for a threat like that, he's going to jail and he'll be calling his lawyer. Cops won't care about your excuse, you'll explain it to the judge.LJ wrote:

Who? The kid or the homeowner? Homeowner is safe in his castle if he thinks it's an intruder and truly thinks his or a family member's life is in danger.ZWICK 4 PREZ wrote:

The kid was welcomed in by the daughter, he didn't enter illegally. His invitation was then revoked by the father which he has every right to. You don't have every right to pull a gun out while revoking their privilege of being there. Cops aren't dumb... the guy will be arrested. -
LJ
LOL. Underage kids living in a home do not have that right. The homeowners, aka the parents, are the ones who hold that right. If you come in and are startled by someone who is not supposed to be there, pointing a gun at them and telling them to leave is within your rights in the state of Ohio. The homeowner will NOT be arrested. You will be questioned and released. If the DA found wrong doing and wanted to charge you, a warrant would be issued at that time. I find it hilarious that I have had in depth conversations with Ken Hansen about this stuff (the lawyer who wrote every gun law since the concealed carry law in 2004) yet people want to argue....ZWICK 4 PREZ wrote:

ts1227Even if one isn't familiar with the gun laws, it's a pretty simple thing to understand the homeowner is going to be protected in that case.

The homeowner has ultimate authority of the decision, sure.. but the kid isn't in there illegally since he was invited in. All the homeowner can do is revoke his permission to be there, which if the kid leaves, he committed no crime. You can't pull a gun out b/c you caught a guy with your daughter. Cops will come, interview your daughter, she'll tell you she had him come over, u came in, got pissed, and pulled ur gun out and threatened him... and yes, they're dragging ur happy ass off to jail. The bullshit excuse of thinking your daughters life was in danger wont fly after her interview.LJ wrote:

You don't know what you are talking about AND you aren't even talking about the same thing. Plus, if you said to your daughter "No one can be here after 10pm" then she invites someone in, she does not have that right as a minor. The person is trespassing already. Maybe in shit ass NE Ohio where the cops suck and don't know the laws in the state of Ohio you would wait to see the judge in the morning, but not in the rest of the state.ZWICK 4 PREZ wrote:

Plus I still find it hilarious that I am a "student" of the gun laws and case law involving guns in this state, yet you think you are an authority on the issue
Your daughter invited him in.. it's not burglary at that point. If you come home, tell him to leave.. he refuses to... then yes, he's committed a crime. Laws are laws whether its "shit ass NE Ohio" or lame ass central Ohio. I don't give a fuck if you're a self proclaimed "student" of gun laws, you're wrong. The problem is you couldn't ever possibly believe you were wrong about anything so you think you're some sort of expert. -
