Is Chris Johnson the overall #1 this year?

That was my question too. Initially I leaned towards Peterson, but I like the fact that Johnson is a home run threat and the fact he catches the ball out of the backfield.

I think he has to be.

Who is your "sleeper" this year?

I dont know if he would fall into that category but I have a feeling Ray Rice is going to have a huge year. I also think that rookie RB for the Chargers might put up some solid numbers.

I think Matt Ryan will slide in most drafts and be very good this year....not sure if he is a sleeper.
  • trackandccrunner
Matt Forte is an RB who I think will have a good year and will probably fall in drafts.

Wes I'd say Matt Ryan would be a sleeper I mean hes probably normally not one of the first 10 QBs taken.

CJ had 7 TD's of 30+ yards last year. No player that had more than 4 of these TD's had more than 2 the following year. Something to think about.
  • Laley23
Shonn Greene. He is going to have probably 300 attempts. I would think he is going to get the goalline carries as well. I think his biggest threat is McKnight THEN LT. I think Greene is going to end up being a top 5 back, who in most drafts wont go till 15-20.

    Hope so.

Ray Rice is my #1. Matt Schaub should have a great year.

I read this stat in ESPN The Magazine. I would lean toards AP if Faxre comes back. If Favre stays retired I might lean towards Maurice Jones-Drew. He had 365 touches last year and the Jags have not added any RB help.

Any of the top four AP, CJ, Rice, and MJD would be solid selections. I'd rather draft 4th than 1st.

Rice had 2,000+ total yards last year, so he wouldn't fit in the sleeper category. That being said, I expect a big year out of Devin Aromashodu.

Shonn Greene is the guy I have my eye on. I draft 8th I believe, so I'm hoping I can grab Peyton w/ my 8th pick and Greene will still be there when it gets back to me.
  • Nate
    #1 CJ
    #2 MJD
    #3 ADP

I had a guy in a standard yahoo draft take Manning 1st overall last night some other dude took Rodgers 3rd I just laughed. I think taking Manning with the 8th pick would be good. You always know hes gonna be one of the top 5 FF QBs.

Peyton was the #7 player in my league, and our commish had interceptions as -3.

QBs are quickly becoming way more valuable, but still I wouldnt take one that early.

Serious. Peyton was the highest scoring player in our league last year. I'll take arguably the #1 QB over the #8 RB.

Yeah, Running backs can be overvalued now that a lot of teams are splitting up the carries.

I got caught in no man's land at number 6 in my draft. The only two QBs I'd take in the 1st round are Brees and Rodgers. Brees was gone, so I ended up taking Steven Jackson. We'll see how it turns out. I did get DeAngelo Williams at #18 in the 2nd round, not sure why he fell so far...

    I'm in a keeper league. I won't know where I draft until 7:15 tomorrow but I'm looking:
    1. Frank Gore
    2. Aaron Rodgers
    3. Michael Turner
    4. Rashard Mendenhall

After that, I'm still not 100% sure who I will take a bite on.

The Big Ben pick really depends on at what point you got him. I got Rodgers as well and didn't pick up a back up until the second to last round because Rodgers is in my lineup every week except for week 10. I'm not a fan of Benson as a fantasy elite RB. Mathews I really do like, but I'm never sold on rookies. Charles could be HUGE, just depends on Jones. If they split, they both will be useless. Reggie Bush. This is my th eory on him: someone else take him so I don't have to. He's never done anything for me.

Calvin is solid. Welker will get his catches when he plays, just have to hope his knee holds up. Dez is my(Cowboys fan), but Rookie receivers are always sketchy. Add in all the other options the Cowboys have. But I do like him. Braylon, should be better with Holmes hanging around. Royal I have as well. I'm hoping he steps up and Orton throws him the ball. THe last two could be decent fill in's.

Celek, you just have to hope that Kolb likes throwing to TE's as much as McNabb did. Shockey is solid just with the other 20 options the Saints have make ALL their players lesser on the totem pole.
  • Nate
    QB - McNabb
    RB - Gore, B.Wells, R. Brown, M. Hardesty, B. Tate
    WR - B. Marshall, D. Bowe, D. Driver, T. Houshmandzadeh, D.Mason, G. Tate
    TE - J. Gresham
    D - N.O.
    K - Janikowski

Nice team, but soft at wide out. I would dangle Cedric out there to see if you can get a top end wide out. I look for Benson to fall off a little and Jamaal Charles to be a beast.
