    Anyone can look at any word(s) and misconstrue them any way you want. If I say "I love you," you can either think I'm gay, or I love you like a brother.

    Words are words, and they are almost always taken out of context.

    Pretty much called everybody who is a liberal or supports President Obama a "pot head" and told them to go smoke some grass

    ^ This isn't so much about me agreeing with Beck but the fact that he is widely considered to be nothing but an entertainer so it shouldn't be a big deal if he spews out comments like that. Now if he was an actual source of news on a channel like ABC or NBC then I could understand it.

    I think the man is over dramatic and I don't go to him for my news like I have mentioned earlier but like I said he had the balls to uncover the radicals in the administration and he is standing up for what he believes in. That is what I like about him.

    The man is an entertainer, he can say whatever he wants, and most of it is an act.

    He were as crazy and imbalanced in real life as he is on the shoe he would be homeless by now.

    He is allowed to spit out his opinions. Al Gore has made himself into a joke. I have heard that from people on both sides of the political spectrum.

    Bigdaddy, how is he standing up for what he believes in when what he believes in is appealing to his audience and saying what his network wants him to say? On CNN, it was our healthcare sucks, Bush is an idiot, vote Democrat. Now that he's on FOX, our healthcare is fine as is, Obama is an idiot, vote Republican. As far as I can tell, all that Glenn Beck believes in is lining his pockets no matter who is paying!

    First off he hasn't told anyone to vote Republican since he has been on Fox. The man isn't a Republican. How hard is that for anyone to understand? I guess since he is bashing Obama and the administration you figure he has to be on the right. I watched him while he was on CNN but I guess I didn't pay enough attention because I don't remember him saying that our health care sucked and to vote Democrat. I know he said Bush was an idiot though. I will have to try and find some of the old episodes and then I will get back to you.

    I disagree. Beck has not changed his views from when he was on CNN at all. He was a neoconservative over there and he is a neoconservative on Fox today.

    His mantra is much more wacko today on Fox...that is a given...but he has always been conservative.

    People cry that Ted Turner rules the politico heads over there. Well, I disagree with that. CNN is a lot more fair and balanced than Fox claims to be. Dobbs for years, Cafferty et al. Neither one even close to being liberals. I would not classify Wolf Blitzer as being liberal for that matter.

    Now...MSNBC...now you are talking liberal.

    All this rambling...and I haven't wached any of these channels for years other than an occasional glance.

    He went off on the healthcare system when he had surgery on his ass (literally, not making that up), then completely pulled a 180? on his stance later.

    I've looked for clips of one of his episodes in 2006 in which he said to vote Democrat to take away Bush's power with a majority Congress, but I can't find one. He had Andrew Sullivan on that night. I know he isn't a Republican, but I don't exactly get the feeling he's voting Libertarian right now, either. His rhetoric tells me otherwise.
