  3) I'll give credit to Trump. He spent nowhere near the money Clinton did, defied odds to win the Republican nomination, defied odds to win the Presidency, and did it by being openly racist/sexist and a general asshole. This will be studied for decades.

  Very much so. To me, the most annoying thing about the left is the blanket condemnations.   Clinton making her "deplorables" comment was moronic, especially considering it was only four years ago that Romney essentially killed his bid with his "47%" comment. But from reading comments and stuff from left-wing sites, anything about that or Clinton's allegations or anything like that was inconsequential and the only issue was how ANYONE could support someone like Trump. Constantly looking at others' flaws while ignoring the concept that your own exist.
  
  And on a tangent, it'd be nice if political parties simply realized that a loser is a loser. The Ds did the same thing I've been mocking the Rs for in past elections: picking a former nomination loser because it's "their time". It didn't work for McCain, it didn't work for Romney, it didn't work for Clinton. If you weren't good enough to get enough support to win your own party's support in one election and something major didn't change in 4 or 8 years, how the hell do you expect to win the entire country's support? And if anything changed for Clinton in the last eight years, I'm pretty sure it wasn't for the positive.

  1. He was sued, but he also fought and sued other places to allow minorities into "white only" clubs.
  2. He did not say Mexicans were rapists, he said that many rapists are coming across the border illegally. This, while non-PC, is a true statement. He never said the Mexicans that are here legally are rapists, he said that those crossing the border illegally show a disproportionate amount of crimes including rape and murder. These are true statements.
  3. I am not that familiar with the judge story to comment.
  
  Full disclosure, I think the guy is an asshole, just don't buy into the CNN/MSNBC spin bull shit like most have.

  I don't buy into anything. I am a Conservative, I do not watch CNN or MSNBC and I have never voted for a Dem for president. I believe Trump is a racist, sexist bigot.

  I can't stand Trump and think he is a complete asshole, but the racist/bigot stuff was way overdone. He is not politically correct and doesn't watch his language to make sure not to offend anyone. That is a fact. That also doesn't make him a racist/bigot.

  What pissed me off the entire election is I obviously wasn't going to vote for trump, but liberals painting every trump voter as some uneducated asshole racist/sexist that doesn't know what is good for this country was so damn ignorant. My dad is a fucking intelligent and successful man (lawyer, retired as an AF colonel, etc) and he voted for trump. I knew he would because 1. He normally votes the GOP ticket no matter what like many people do for both parties and 2. He despises Hillary. It's just straight ignorant to group people like him or working class Americans who never voted before yesterday, into what liberals were trying to paint them as. People like zwick, ptown and the majority of most educated democrats/liberals I know simply couldn't comprehend the fact that a lot of people were voting for trump because they hate Hillary that much.
  
  If Hillary stayed on message about why she was the best candidate, perhaps those people would have sucked it up and voted for her. Instead, she made her ENTIRE campaign about trump, while also throwing shade on the people she needed to come out and vote for her.
  
  I was harsh on Romney after 2012 and harsh on the GOP the last 18 months, but Hillary might go down as the greatest political failure of all time.

  Thank you. Many of us sensed the strong crossover movement that was occurring in NE Ohio; the only question was whether it was also bubbling in PA, and MI and beyond in numbers large enough to win.

  I've been a Clinton hack on here cause I was just that against Trump. Devil I knew v. the devil I didn't. It did not really dawn on me that Trump might win until I visited NE Ohio 2 weeks ago and talked with people that were smart as shit, but voting for Trump. There reasons were more than I just hate her, but they want something very different. I thought that was just an Ohio thing, but apparently, it was way more widespread.
  I'll fully accept that I completely missed and could not comprehend that until it dawned on me 2 weeks ago and then last night.

  Be more intelligent and don't put a candidate up for election because of his/her last name, gender, race, etc. --- especially when your own party's voters rejected her eight years ago. Simply coming into the election, Hillary had a ton of baggage relating to trustworthiness and honesty that made it an uphill climb for her to get any support outside of her party core. All Trump had to do was focus on that, as he did with commercials and his regular "Crooked Hillary" tweets, so there was no chance it wouldn't leave the minds of the middle ground voters.
  
  The party didn't care. When the allegations that the DNC took actions to fix the nomination process were made, they didn't care. When the email leaks came out and kept coming, often offering contradictions to stuff she'd previously said, they didn't care. When she pulled a Romney and openly insulted the other candidate's support, they didn't care.
  
  It's really the sort of monumental stupidity that, to me, says that the party should undergo a house-cleaning at the top, dispose of the incompetents currently running things and put people in power who actually have a clue.
