Evidence we are responsible for some warming is undeniable. The catastrophic predictions of runaway warming that continue to be wrong year after year after year however, are not. But I'm sure you believe otherwise, as demonstrated, based on a penchant for headline grabbing titles without really understanding the models and assumptions that feed those.

The case for catastrophic warming is based on some pretty dubious assumptions, which have turned out to be wrong at best (again and again) and completely the opposite of reality in other cases (such as feedback from aerosols or amplifying, rather than dampening, from clouds). And you probably have no clue that a 1% increase in CO2 DOES NOT cause a 1% increase in warming (i.e. logarithmic).

Which is what % increase? Out of how many reported criminal incidents total (I'm thinking there are like 10 MILLION arrests every year).

So your original point about crimes against Muslims was rather, err, underwhelming so you've now moved the goalposts to ALL hate crimes, again with no context.

And I'm going to go out on a limb and guess you can't tell me how many of these hate crimes can be attributed to Trump supporters, vs. BLM and other Democratic agitators, vs. just general low lifes who hate a lot of people pretty indiscriminantly.

It is the ability of being able to vote for someone like Donald Trump and yet insist that you are not a bigot.

Research and studies continue to show that global warming is actually accelerating faster than predicted, not the other way. But hey, like I said facts are irrelevant when arguing with the GOP.

LOL, no they don't. Have you read the actual studies, or just the clickbait headlines. They are absolutely at a loss to understand how they got aerosols and cloud cover so horribly wrong. To say nothing of the way they continue to move the goalposts by revising past temperatures lower. Or the questionable use of surface temperatures in the first place.

For being so settled, Climate research is doing an awful lot of revising models and adding/changing assumptions to constantly fix their models. They don't know what they don't know, not even close. And that's the problem with declaring your science "settled" - it's just the typical liberal tactic to silence opposition and quash debate.

Keep clinging to that bullshit identity politics dribble. Worked really well in 2016 all over the country - 1000 seats in gubmit Dems have lost since 2008.

    Yup!

2018 and 2020 don't look promising either. Liberals have double downed on identity politics and blaming white men. It's quite sad they think their positions are morally superior.

Looks like the only thing the Democrat party has been successful at is scaring the shit out of their own people.

Well considering my profession and love of science, yeah I've read the actual studies. Everything in your post is wrong, and would take me 20 min to write a response which you wouldn't understand and would deny anyways. There was a massive Climate Change thread on here a while back where I schooled morons like you, feel free to go back and read that (even tho you wont).

Pretty hard to disagree with actually.

"Donald Trump ran a campaign of racist demagoguery against Muslim Americans, Hispanic immigrants, and black protesters. He indulged the worst instincts of the American psyche and winked to the stream of white nationalists and anti-Semites who backed his bid for the White House. Millions of Americans voted for this campaign, thus elevating white nationalism and white reaction to the Oval Office."

He then backs this up by picking Stephen Bannon to be his strategist. Here's some of that asshole's headlines for his hateful shitty paper: https://mediamatters.org/blog/2016/08/17/breitbart-news-worst-headlines/212467

A paper, that should be noted, to be a favorite of white nationalists.

So... I've asked this question before but it was never answered. I'll ask it again.

Blacks, Muslims, LGBTQ's, Hispanics, Women who voted for Trump - are they betrayers?

Look, they can't all be uneducated people, right? Obviously they voted differently than how YOU would have wanted/like for them to vote. Why would they do this?

LMFAO. I'm sure. You've demonstrated a real penchant and ability for research and understanding in this very thread.

I'll take this one.....of those who voted for Trump:
Blacks - racist against hispanics and muslims
    Muslims - sexist, very sexist
LGBTQ - LOL, they didn't vote for Trump
Women - just uneducated stepford wives following their ignorant, racist husbands
Hispanics - marriage is between a man and a woman

How very racist of you to think Trump only got the WHITE racist vote.

Also, started reading through CoA's article but didn't get past this:

LMFAO.....I expected the drive-by view from you. NASA is a govt organization hardly free of political influence. I don't need to take issue with most of the anecdotal evidence out there to say it's far from conclusive on catastrophic warming.

You want to start discussing the ACTUAL science, CI intervals, out-of-sample results, etc....as opposed to summaries that gloss over/ignore allthe, err, unsettledness of the actual science?

Or Georgia. All these racists voted Trump yet voted for an Indian woman governor and a black senator to represent their state.

I haven't had a liberal explain that one to me yet.

Post more links of articles you didn't write or read. It's comical how you pat yourself on the back for posting the opinions of others that you cannot articulate on your own.

Wonder how Trump supporters feel about Bannon?

I know how I feel, not racist.

    http://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2016/11/15/13625168/steve-bannon-explained

You see, Bannon isn’t your typical loyalist being rewarded by the president he shepherded into office: He’s a leading light of America’s white nationalist movement accused of using misogynistic, anti-Muslim, anti-Semitic, and barely hidden racist language throughout his professional life.
His ex-wife has also alleged that he’s expressed anti-Semitic sentiments in his personal life as well: According to 2007 court papers alleging domestic violence, she said that Bannon had said he didn’t want his children going to a school that had a lot of Jewish students.

"Yeah he's a POS human being, but have you see his financial policy? WOW!"
  • HitsRus
Vox and Slate? not really credible as objective sites. Try Occupy Democrats next!

That said...I'm not a Trump guy. I hate the Bannon pick.
