    Doubtful. Consider the type - it's all about "look at me, look at me, look at what a good person I am". They don't really give a shit about these causes, it's just an opportunity for them to be relevant and self-important.

    Just did a Google News Article search, I found it. So far in 2016 we're up to 481. That's 481 too many in my book.

    Should also be noted, that is only Anti-Muslim hate crimes, not all encompassing.

    According to the bureau's Hate Crimes Statistics report, there were 257 incidents against Muslims in 2015—the highest number since 2001 when anti-Muslim sentiment escalated after the September 11 attacks.
    This year’s report, which contains data from 14,997 law enforcement agencies, reveals 5,850 criminal incidents and 6,885 related offenses that were motivated by bias against race, ethnicity, ancestry, religion, sexual orientation, disability, gender and gender identity.

    That's from the FBI, which I trust, and poses a very different reality than the 251 which you find funny.

    Is it 251/481 too many? Of course...I don't think any reasonable person would dispute that. Let's just dial back the hysteria a little bit, and then a rational discussion can hopefully be had.

    And nothing I said was incorrect, you chose to think the number was irrelevant based on you thinking 481 Muslim hate crimes in 2016 as insignificant. I take nothing back about what I reported/said. Going from 1 to 10 in a year when we elect a bigoted racist sexual predator is significant in my book. Guess we don't all have the same standards of human decency though. Interesting.

    Who knows anymore? There's no standards for social injustice and its being used solely for identity politics and ostracizing groups that don't buy into the hysteria. There's no solutions, no discussions, it's merely a "See this statistic that proves nothing but doesn't look great, are you outraged by this and if not you are a racist/sexist."

    It's quite comical. I'm all for having a discussion about race/hate/injustice and looking to solve these problems that do exist, but the amount of broken logic, one-sided viewpoints, and divisive language is harmful and a waste of time.
