Trump vs. Hillary (NO OTHER OPTIONS)

Yeah, all you've had to do for however long is drive by your local trailer park or low-income apartment complex to see the results of that in action.FatHobbit;1811034 wrote:I don't really think that's a new trend -

Thank you for at least recognizing that. In addition, policies to actually get the economy turned around would be implemented. If she wins, the economy gets no better and probably worsens as the onslaught of obama edicts and regs takes its toll, and with $20 trillion of debt hanging over us, we're shit out of luck.sleeper;1811030 wrote: The only positive I can see with Trump is he will shake up the status quo. We've become a society that shuns any reasonable debate about any issue because we care more about feez than realz and Trump will definitely hammer the hell out of that. -

Not new, but the saturation point is now significant enough where its beginning to ruin the country.FatHobbit;1811034 wrote:I don't really think that's a new trend
Does anyone think for themselves anymore? I swear, 90% of conversations these days are just regurgitated talking points about feelz. -

As Trump said, it used to be that cars were made in Flint, Michigan, and you couldn't drink the water in Mexico; today the cars are made in Mexico and you can't drink the water in Flint.
But apparently 40%+ of the people think that is ok, so they want Hillary and more of it. -

Predictable rebuttal. Trump has as much chance of being 236 as John Daily does being 215 on his bio.bases_loaded;1811044 wrote:Predictable response. You can do better. Ford Fiesta got you down? -
majorsparkMaybe Hillary is closer to 236 than Trump?

As long as one of the 5 switches sides on anything that would overturn Heller, I'm right there.sleeper;1811024 wrote:Same boat for me. I like a 5-4 court, 5 liberals, 4 conservatives.

#NeverTrump#NeverHillary here.... Amazingly, sleeper just made the case for me to consider voting for Trump, should I decide it's more important to vote for one of these idiots instead of voting my convictions.sleeper;1810922 wrote:The alternative is much worse. Trump doesn't understand how the world works and frankly I'm uncomfortable letting a complete wildcard have the keys to nuclear weapons.
That's a good enough reason to vote for anyone but Trump and right now HRC is the best option to keep Trump out of office. I would have voted happily for any other Republican but the R's chose Trump so they will get HRC in the White House.
Trump may be a wildcard, but Hillary is a certainty. There is a long track record to base an opinion on with her...but not with Trump. There is a chance(small) that Trump could be a decent president...and if he should get too crazy, there will be ample resistance on both sides of the aisle to shut down anything that is bizarre. The very notion of Trump being crazy or unreasonable to begin with is only speculation....
and I'm pretty sure the Prez just can't launch the nukes on his own. On the other hand, Clinton's track record pretty much guarantees what Quaker posted in #1360...and if the D's get control of congress, this country could be unrecognizable before the end of her term. Most certainly, if I'm torn between the two and I have to choose one, I'll take the chance on the "wildcard" rather than the guaranteed clusterf***.
It may go down to the voting booth before I pick whether to vote for Trump or vote my convictions go for Johnson....but I no for sure who I'm NOT voting for. -

No,if there are 5 liberals, we would need one of them to join the 4 conservatives to leave it in place.FatHobbit;1811110 wrote:You want Heller overturned? -
BoatShoesI think Heller will be fine. It really wasnt that cray. Still allows libs to regulate guns while preserving the right to,own a gun. Explicitly says it doesnt affect things like prohibitions against felons, etc.
Personally never heard a liberal say we,need,to,overturn Heller. Hear about overturning Citizens United all the time in fundraising lit.
Personally just think the full on anti gun ban them all libs are a small minority. -
BoatShoes
What exactly do you think will happen...Roberts upheld Obummercare. Guns aint goin anywhere.like_that;1811018 wrote:The problem is they are not progressive anymore. They are regressive.
I'm not a trump supporter, but for me the one consolation to him winning would be the justices appointed from the right. They are more favorable to the constitution.
It's too bad the SCOTUS is no longer used the way it was meant to be. You have just justices forcing their skewed interpretations of the constitution and making decisions that impact us for a lifetime. There should be term limits on the SCOTUS. Not to mention, why the fuck are we letting these 75+ year old people making these decisions for our country? -
BoatShoesIMHO gopers should love a 5-4 lib court. The abortion fanatics will have no hope and may just stop bringing it up. Abortion shit on the right is the sjw shit on the left.
