But with that ease at which you can get a CHL in Ohio there are just plenty of owners who arent exactly the most responsible. And all it takes is 1 slip up with a loaded handgun for something bad to happen. But again its almost comical how defensive you get over this topic lol
Why wouldn't I? You are lumping all CHL holders as irresponsible and dangerous. Talk about condescending.

In more than three quarters of the incidents (282) the concealed carry killer has already been convicted (108), committed suicide (167), or was killed in the incident (seven). Of the 64 cases still pending, the vast majority (51) of concealed carry killers have been charged with criminal homicide, five were deemed incompetent to stand trial, and eight incidents are still under investigation. An additional 10 incidents were fatal unintentional shootings involving the gun of the concealed handgun permit holder. Twenty-three of the incidents were mass shootings, resulting in the deaths of 103 victims.

So 10 in 5 years across 32 states that were accidental shootings. You should be scared.

Said plenty of owners that arent. Not that all of you were not responsible.

Meanwhile, in Chicago this year alone there have been 2378 shootings and 482 homicides...and not even Thanksgiving yet.

Ok, let's just agree to disagree. I'll continue carrying (which no one will even know, because it's, you know, concealed), and you can continue being afraid of carriers (even though you can't, because you don't know they are).

And how many had a permit to carry a concealed weapon?

You have to remember, when it comes to legit gun crime, bad guys will do it no matter what, license or no license.

That was the point, but thanks for spelling it out for certain people on this board. ONE city, in 10.5 months, with 7X the number of shootings vs. CHL in 32 states over 5 years.

This will be my only response since we already know you don't understand statistics

So .006% of permit holders have committed a crime in 5 years. Neat.

Cops killed 382 people related to misconduct in 14 months between April 2009 and June
    2010.

So this wouldn't also mean bringing a gun into my home without telling me?

I can't enter your home without explicit permission. I can enter an open business without explicit permission
