    Lol Oh my.

I didn't suggest you cut my statement. It's presence in the entire conversation is there for all to see. It speaks for itself.

The statement is a continuation of the prior patronizing of your belief that we have a democracy.

Yeah, you go with that. You don't read me or understand me at all if you conclude that I think we are a democracy. Lol.

gosh I read what you said, big guy. hey you entitled to change your opinion within a thread if you want, because the people support free speech in our liberal democracy.
  • Con_Alma

    I'm sorry I don't understand. Is that a yes?

I don't believe I can do what I want if there are laws against such an activity.

within the limits the people have determined.

Ahhh but that's not what you claimed.

I agree that I am limited by the laws created through the legislative process which is determined not by the people as a pure democracy might, but rather through their representatives.

If that's the case am I able to do as you said....and do what I want?

Are representatives able to act against the people's will legislatively? If so, doesn't that put the ultimate power in the representative's hands?

with popular sovereignty the people can remove any representative from office and any law they pass.

Yeah, that didn't answer the questions.
  • isadore
    yes it did
  • Con_Alma
Am I able to do as I want like you stated earlier? I don't believe I can.

Can a Representative act against the people wishes legislatively? Telling me what the people can do as a response doesn't answer the question.
