CoachB63Tuslaw never gets much love on here but they have some tough nosed kids, I think they will make some noise this week
-
Bloody ToothbrushNo idea on who's going 170.
I got the info I passed to you from post #44 on page 2 of this thread by Aaron Dorksen.....he's the sports editor of the local paper. -
Bloody Toothbrush
Red Hole picked a bunch of Tuslaw kids to advance....so they got a little love. But I know what you mean.CoachB63;1088515 wrote:Tuslaw never gets much love on here but they have some tough nosed kids, I think they will make some noise this week
with all this last minute shuffling, will Elliott or Finley go back to 170?
No Beam leaves that class wide open. -
BearBoy69Ya i heard the Beam drop is official. Beast should have some insight on that!
and yes i totally agree with Srock having the HWT training, but the matches have been decided by 1 or 2 points between them every time, and it's Kelbly's Sr. year, so idk gotta go with my gut. And like you said the Orr HWT is not to be taken likely i could honestly see him Kelbly and Srock place top 3 in any order. I bet all 3 make it to state as well, as other than NWN sectional, i believe the other HWT's at GH district are weak, we may take all 4 HWTs to state if the fourth gets hot at districts. That'd be awesome  -

with Beam down, White from Orr is my favorite for 170Bloody Toothbrush;1088516 wrote:No idea on who's going 170.

1_beastI gave insight....then deleted it so 4 loopholez could ramble about the current Canadian currency exchange or Wooster debate club.
Beam is at 160, B Stanley at 152, Strasbaugh down to 170...all three kids wrestle light ALL year. Will be in their actual weight classes.
It is true Brakeman #1 Max Erwin (Mechanicsburg) was in a car wreck this evening and broke his leg requiring surgey. Very unfortunate, but WOW if 152 was open already.....That just opened it more!
With Fortune deciding to go 145...hopefully Stanley can capitalize and be on the BIG STAGE Saturday night. -
CoachB63Not to pick on a kid, but can someone tell me how Hillsdale's 220 is ranked 7th in the Brakeman????
is it Brakeman not knowing D3 very well or is 220 that weak? -
1_beastas for printing the programs, Beast may bring along a portable printer to help the crowd...at WCAL you were offered a "Program" for $2 only to find....NO
Competitors...LOL .....just a "History of WCAL PAST Champions" -
CoachB63Do Stanley and Studer have a history?
-
1_beast
add an extra class in that area....waters down the weight class....you have a few athletes there, but alot of freshman/JV type kids, while state caliber kids will be left behind due to the reduction of a weight class in the most populated classes.... Notice 38-45-52 are the only classes with full 13 kid bracketsCoachB63;1088529 wrote:Not to pick on a kid, but can someone tell me how Hillsdale's 220 is ranked 7th in the Brakeman????

1_beastNot to my knowledge....Studer has always been smaller.

Red RumJesus H,
I leave and the thread goes friggin' viral.
Bloody-
friends like you completely erase the need for enemies.
BearBoy-
All the tough HWTs are coming out of Garfield. Lytle(projected champ) & Majoy(ranked #1). Along with Srock, Kelbly and Rodgers. Thats 5 of Brakemans top 7.
The NWN sectional will probably get 1 or 2 down to Columbus. Although it would be cool if it played out your way.
Miyagi-

1_beast2 others notables.... Blair (Tus) was rumored to be at 45...but went back to 152?? Also Potter (Orr) has been 145 and he went 152 as well. I dont know the reasoning....but on the State level....152 is more wide open.

Guess that makes that ratio with the stud from Hillsdale a little clearer, lol1_beast;1088548 wrote:The Beachwood sectional has (4) 220lbers WOW

UncleGrizzlyBeast did you know the Titanic went down ?? We know kids are missing in the upper and lower weight classes. The middle weights fit your personal needs. You think they are the best. Some people like smaller and leaner. I like bigger and stronger. I think a 145a and a 145b would be perfect for you !!

It is more of a note of how deep Northwestern sectionals is across the board. The numbers are staggering when looked at as a whole body of work...comparing NWN to Brooklyn, Rootstown, Beachwood (GH district).... Elmwood...etc (other D-III sectionals)UncleGrizzly;1088625 wrote:Beast did you know the Titanic went down ?? We know kids are missing in the upper and lower weight classes. You like bigger and stronger...thats fine. Perhaps the NFHS can add a 240 to suit you.
No need to get testy. Since you are offering insight, you have intrigued me....when did the Titanic go down?
Elmwood sectional has (4) kids at Heavyweight!
people want wrestling talk, but as soon as someone attempts...you shoot down conversation. Be unhappy elsewhere.
My point being, while we have kids wrestling for their advancement, there are areas that kids just show up and advance. (try to keep up)
P.S. I think the landing on the moon was a conspiracy and I dont believe it ever happened. -
