The Wrestling Thread that's not about anything.....

Despite the intensity of the pretend doesn't really exist conflict between all the people on here that barely know each other and even by that mostly by our fake names and internet lives where parody and mocking seem to be a one way street we all really are real people that do get hurt when insulted or made fun of even though most would not admit it.cruiser_96;764135 wrote:bitter: I was locked up in a hole today. Only had access to the "Real Name' site. However, I was able to create the flier for our camp. Be ready to be AMAZED!
falcons81: In all honesty here, as much as I may or may not agree with your perspective on any given situation, your service to this country is appreciated by me (and others on here, I'm sure). So, on behalf of myself and my family, as we approach Memorial Day, I would like to extend a "Thank You" for your service and sacrifice.
ALL GAVE SOME. SOME GAVE ALL.
Cruiser, Thank you for the respect and kind words at least respecting my Service but even more important to those That are presently risking EVERYTHING for our right to be free. Let us all always be humble during Memorial day for all of our brothers and sisters who never made it home. Cruiser_96 Good luck with your camp. My wife and I host 4 to 5 camps a year feeding 30 kids breakfast and dinner and washing their cloths ..God Bless my Wife! God Bless you and anyone doing a camp its hard work with zero pay. -

falcon81Our last and hopefully now last controversy "home inspection" Nightmares we have been going thru. With in 5 hours of this Video being run on a very credible wrestling forum Waynedale officials had a conversation with The OHSSA today and these intrusive raids are now being stopped and my family can maybe live a normal life. Also on a great Note Waynedale announced that they did approve and finalize the building of a huge brand new wrestling facility. Along with dreams of and the real possibility of a Team run at A State title it would make a great ending and closing chapter to this crazy story. Karma is alive and well. God is Good. The Home inspection..Enjoy.;

Bitter isn't bitter about you. He's bitter about being a runner up. That doesn't take a whole lot of common sense to figure out. If you think he's bitter, it's probably just because he doesn't really like you. However, don't fret because I can tell you why many people don't like you.
You waltz into the forum, make absurd accusations, and then leave because you were "just ranting." In reality, all you're doing is CONSTANTLY complaining. You're complaining about something that you don't even understand. I'm surprised you even condescend yourself to have a look see at what people are not saying about you. Contrary to what you appear to think, wrestling is not about you. It's a sport in which runs a deep commitment to the hallow and sacred which you do not understand. I could walk into ninety percent of wrestling practices in this country and ask if my son could practice there for a week because we were on vacation. And, they would let him. Not only would they let him, they'd go that extra step to help teach him something all the while realizing that someday he could be standing across from one of their wrestlers. They do this for one simple reason: They respect the sacrifices that others make. They know what it's like to put hours and hours into a sport with little recognition. There is a camaraderie in wrestling that you can find in very few places in this world, and that's what makes it so special. You can watch a community of wrestlers and realize that people still work hard to help one another regardless of who they are. It's heartwarming and reminds you that there's still good left in the world. You cannot even begin to imagine how precious that happens to be.
You come along and think your sacrifices are greater and you constantly compare them to yours with the design of making them seem inferior to you. Then you continue to throw up what I assume you believe are your own personal accolades. These seem to make you think you're some kind of moral measuring stick for the greater wrestling community. The old I'm a veteranbusinessmandadmotivationalspeaker and you're a no good teacher is getting old. To infer that your worth is greater based on your life vocation is indicative of your epic failure in the character department. If you really want to be a part of the community that you so flippantly insult, you should start with attempting to understand it. You don't have to like everyone in that community, but you should mutually respect them. You've insulted people you don't even know over this whole ordeal, and then cried "fowl" when the system that you insulted threw you out. That's really what this thread could have been named: "No Crazy Falcon Talk" because people were sick of hearing you talk. It obvious that pain of rejection has led you to your current virtual temper tantrum state. If you could really care less about being accepted, you wouldn't be on here spouting your crazy rhetoric.
It is a fact that not all coaches can coach every athlete, regardless of what sport it is. Realizing this is paramount in your ability to walk away from a team with the dignity of all involved still intact. You seem incapable of this though. If you critically reflected upon your own personal responsibility, you'll probably find that you could have handle this situation in a manner that wouldn't have left bitter feelings about you (not your kids) when you left. I would lay money down right now that your conduct led to many of the issues you faced in the Katrina like aftermath.
On a personal note, I find it offensive that you even mention that you're a veteran. I spent five years in the Marine Corps and you don't act like any veteran I have ever chosen to respect. The military is much the same way in that I could go to a group of Marines I never knew and ask them to help me, and they would do it. This is because they too understand what it means to not necessarily like one another, but they respect the mutual sacrifice of living outside in typhoid rains for thirty days. I would be willing to bet that you just as shamelessly disregarded the military system of bureaucracy, and then wept inwardly at the loss of such an amazing gift. It's a pathetic state in which you have left yourself.
Very accurate post and way over Falcon's head. -
1_beastAnother BUG from the woodwork...Truth...you havent posted since February....here you are...back again...this is the last thread you posted on, and Falcon was able to pull you from under the cupboard...lol the cockroaches swarm....I love it.

That's definitely great news. With wrestling looking like the whipping boy of sports (as in, "hmmm...we need to make cuts, what gets axed?") at so many places, to see improved facilities being built somewhere is something to be proud of. -
dbluvsd1amondsI would like to know how many Ohio kids will be competing for a spot at the US World Team Trials next month? Any names of kids who will produce so amazing matches?

Thanks Heretic... We used to practice in the cafeteria until about 1985. We built (at the time, for D-III) a state of the art weightroom and wrestling room. We have since outgrown that and many things are dated. This is great news for the Waynedale wrestling FAMILY. -
cruiser_961_beast: I think all credit goes to Louie!
dbluvs: Tommy Rowlands (Bishop Ready/Ohio State, JD Bergman (Oak Harbor/Ohio State), if J Jaggers (St. Peter Chanel/Ohio State) wrestles.. that would be three Ohio boys. There are probably more. I think CP and Dustin Schlatter are still involved. CP with Greco, maybe Dustin is out. Who else is out there? Kilgore???
Falcons: Camp are always fun. Meeting kids from across the area is what makes it great. -
dbluvsd1amondsOooh Bergman. I forgot he was from Ohio.

falcon81I_beast and Myself and anyone who has dealt or wrestled and coached for Louie Stanley knows he is one of the best kept secrets in the State of Ohio. The fact that the wrestling Booster club has put this building project together and has a Louie kind of guy as a coach they believe in is a very good thing. He has been there for 18 years now and I think he has a real shot at the ultimate prize next year. Louie spends more time in the off season with his team and encouraging his wrestlers every chance he gets. He has treated my boys like his own son even though initially Zane and his son Brendan were in the same weight class. Great husband ,father, Mini farmer, hunter , teacher, and great motivational speaker. He has been a great friend thru all this and I am proud and feel privileged to be a assistant there. Louie went to my sons classroom when we got the terrible news in January and hugged and wept with each twin and comforted them on the devastating news. My twins and entire family will never forget Coach Stanley...I now understand why all the X wrestlers come back and help out in the droves for nothing ..they love their coach as we do also. He is what a coach was meant to be.
Cruiser_96, your right, the kids you meet and the new associations you make is what makes the camps worth while. Thats how I really got to know Louie, he brought a bunch of his wrestlers to some Team Nelson Camps and I was just always so impressed with his demeanor and I love it when he gets fired up, he can get at It!! Introduce yourself if I am ever up and around you...I don't bite. -
cruiser_96Nobody minds Louie... I think it's his brother we're ALL afraid of!!!!!!!
ps: I don't bite... Hard! -
1_beastCruiser..Louie's a Pu$$y...LOL and you can tell him said that (I still cant believe you wouldnt kick him at the coaches meeting when you were sitting behind him)....realistically...he is my Blood, and Im proud to have him coaching not only me, ( while he was interning in college, ) but my 3 brothers....but my son as well...and 3 cousins(his great nephews). Yup..Great big hillbilly family!!! He puts in alot of time. I honestly dont know how he fits all he does into a 24 hour day.
Actually...his senior year was the virgin season in the "new room" in 1985. It very deserving that he gets this new room. Perhaps we will name it after him The sissy room. (I can say that...im family...if i wasnt family...i wouldnt cross paths with the gentle giant)
Edit: Falcon...I met Cruiser, as he was kind enough to meet me halfway, in mansfield for Easter Ressurection Breakfast, where Jim Jordan and Tom Ryan were guest speakers. Great Guy. He may bite..but he can be bought with a bait of dip n dots. (shhh) -
cruiser_96People who plant strawberry patches and blueberry bushes are living my dream! I hope to get to planting them within the next few weeks. A TON going on, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel... Here's hoping it's not a train!
