I just figured your use of went instead of wentz meant you were speaking West Virginian.

falcon81Thanks GG Snuggle Sports forum. Fair balanced and clean. Mainly consistent and accountable! Now back to some mindless fun!!! How to change baby Diapers! I am an expert on that...7 kids and 4 great grand parents!
-
falcon81Guys we really have to pick the pace up, the Parody thread is way off the pace of the "Real" one. Mindless and pointless just doesn't seem to grab the attention of the real people like it does Parody people. I'am really doubting we are going to hit our goal now. Maybe a internet "MIME" would help! Or a internet "Pinata" ....never mind , we already did that..Oche!! Its all fun and games !!!!

falcon81"Substance"1 an organic substance: material, matter, stuff.
2 ghostly figures with no substance: solidity, body, corporeality; density, mass, weight, shape, structure.
3 none of the objections has any substance: meaningfulness, significance, importance, import, validity, foundation; formal moment.
4 the substance of the tale is very thin: content, subject matter, theme, message, essence.
5 the Bears are a team of substance: character, backbone, mettle.
6 independent men of substance: wealth, fortune, riches, affluence, prosperity, money, means.

130wrestlersWhats a medina board and does it have to do with a wrestling tourney?
-
cruiser_96130wrestlers... EXCELLENT question. What was the Medina board, BEFORE the Medina tournament!? WAS there a Medina/bout board before the tournament!?!
We use our Cruiser Bout Board. However, if the M.I.T. did start the process, the state tournament should give thanks. They use that thing to a "T".
To answer the question... It is a board with mat numbers down the left side and something else across the top. Two wrestlers who will be wrestling each other each get a number. That number will pop up onto the board and I will go to that mat.
........Now Wrestling...5 minutes...10 minutes...15 minutes
Mat 1.....#037...........#042...........#047
Mat 2.....#038...........#043...........#048
Mat 3.....#040...........#045...........#050
Mat 4.....#041...........#046...........#051
Lowsingle274 and I are match #043. We will be up on mat #2 in 5 minutes.
...and he is going down via reverse spladle to a hackensmitt. -
lowsingle174Abraham Lincoln has a nasty Duck Under for a tall guy.

cruiser_96I see ol' honest Abe with a mean ankle pick. Do you think he would use a fake shot? That would be devious behavior, would it not??? However, it would be within the rules, so yes, he might.
-
KAginIt seems Abe was more of a head and arm/snap down guy.

"For a time, the two scufflers circled each other warily. They did some grappling and twisting, but neither man could throw the other to the ground. Slowly, Armstrong began to get the worst of it. Finally, Lincoln grabbed the bully by the neck, held him at arm's length, and shook him like a little boy. This aroused the Clary's Grove boys, and it suddenly appeared Lincoln might be attacked by an entire crowd of people. He backed up against the wall of Offutt's store and offered to take them on one at a time." -

THE4RINGZAn example of American ingenuity from Abraham Lincoln. A true story.
As a regiment commander in the Illinois militia Lincoln is practicing close order drill with his troops in a wooded area one day when they encounter a fence directly in their path. Unsure of the commands to manuever his squad around the fence in rank, he halts the troops and tells them to fall out.
After a few minutes of rest, Lincoln climbs over the fence and gives the command to fall back into ranks. His troops had now navigated their way around the obstacle and continued the drill. -
Wolverine12I'll bet anybody here a whole thing of Dip-N-Dots that Abe Lincoln was one of those tall, skinny, wirery, wrestlers that gets his damn legs in and just grinds the crap out of you with his leg-ride.
