Ohio Capital Conference overview (12/09/10)

  • 6 minutes
They all should have 1 less match...right? Only 8 teams which means 7 duals and Davidson still has to wrestle Darby? That means they should be 6-0 .
  • Cthelites
They make up CC on Wed

    OCC Capital
    New Albany is 4-2.
Beating Franklin Heights, Delaware Hayes,Big Walnut, Olentangy Orange
Losing to Mt. Vernon and Hilliard Bradley
Still has to wrestle Watkins this week.
  • hizzmuther
Hilliard Bradley -- beat New Albany, Franklin Heights, Delaware Hayes, Olentangy Orange, and Watkins. Lost to Mt. Vernon. So 5 and 1 with Big Nut saved for Thursday night.
  • The2cKDude
    Watkins Memorial 3-2

    Losses: Hilliard Bradley, M. Vernon

    OCC-Ohio
    1. Gahanna-Lincoln Lions (Still has to wrestle Pick. North.)
    1. Lancaster Golden Gales
    1. Pickerington Central Tigers
    4. Pickerington North Panthers
    5. Grove City Greyhounds
    6. Reynoldsburg Raiders
    7. Groveport-Madison Cruisers
    8. Newark Wildcats

I'm pretty sure Pick. North and Gahanna still have to wrestle. The Port takes on the Burg on Wednesday. Pick. Central did indeed beat Lancaster which means if Gahanna beats Pick. North, there is a 3-way tie.

    160: RB by fall
    171: RB by forfeit
    189: RB by forfeit

Was Pinzone the injury default? I mean, if you can divulge without violating the HIPPA agreement.

Penzone was not injured, he was called for a technical violation after a "slam" of the MV wrestler. There was a second "slam" and another tech violation and the MV wrestler did not continue. Forfeit awarded to MV. Made the match much closer than it should have been. Came down to the last match with Michael winning a dec over Garza to secure the win.
  • cruiser_96
Whew. Glad you didn't violate any HIPPA agreements. And thanks for the info.
