Hawks to the eastern finals. Amazing. Trae Young has been incredible to watch. Tonight was the Kevin Huerter game. 

Not sure what happens to Ben Simmons from here but hard to believe he plays in Philly next season. That wide open dunk he passed out of late in the game was unbelievable. 

He’s gotta go. Lowry would be perfect on the Lakers or Philly. I’d predict that is a battle for him this off-season. Not sure what else, but they need to make some changes. Simmons — even before he became the 0&D — was a horrible fit for them. Now? He’s straight unplayable.

OKC will take him and some picks but I don’t know who else is going to want to touch that salary. 

That Suns ending was just awful with the reviews. Then saved by Ayton after PG choked.

Id be cool with all sports abandoning it aside from scoring plays. Thats basically if its off in time for basketball, handful of things for football (but still limiting the use dramatically) and then fair/foul or HR/not HR in baseball

The who it went off of last, did runner come off the base for a millisecond on slide, etc is just not what replay is meant for.

So Bridges misses the corner three with a few seconds left and ball goes out of bounds. I think they ruled it went off the Clippers but LA wants it reviewed right? Or did that just happen automatically? It seemed like they really pushed for the review (as they did with everything else those last couple minutes) which gave Phoenix an extra timeout basically which they didn’t otherwise have. If the refs were going to look at it anyways then it’s a moot point but if the Clippers requested it then how dumb. You could just have Phoenix take the out of bounds with no time to draw up a play. 

Also, I use to be a member of the Boogie Cousins fan club when he was in New Orleans but does anyone need to fuck off more than him? He shoved Booker after that alley oop and I guess the NBA is going to pretend it didn’t happen. The guy is a walking victim complex.

Under 2 minutes they probably were going to review it anyway. But Clippers did also request it.

The worst was the ball Beverly hit out of Bookers hands...and it was off Bookers. In pickup ball, even Beverly would say that is off him. So dumb.

Trae with damn near 50 points in his conference finals debut on the road. Is he going to fuck around and lead this team to a championship??

I’m torn. He’s been so fun to watch but Giannis might be my favorite player in all of sports. 

This game has made my eyes bleed. 

The officiating was awful down the stretch as well

I can’t believe they didn’t review the play off Payne. I hate that call when it’s reversed, but until the rule is changed, that is oficiating malpractice.

Not to beat a dead horse but my favorite part of that cluster was Boogie not knowing his missed free throw had to hit the rim. He seemed to try and chuck it at the shot clock as hard as he could. 

If Giannis is out beyond this game then my interest might be non-existent.

Phoenix to the finals. Really hoping Giannis can come back healthy and get the Bucks there as well.

I am happy for CP3. I hope Phoenix wins it.

Laley, why is ESPN not under more scrutiny for the Rachel Nichols thing? My understanding is that she was having a private conversation but the camera near her was still turned on, uploaded to the server and then leaked to the media? Now ESPN is like “wow what a shitty thing for you to say and us to leak. Let’s save face by replacing you with Malika Andrews.” I get why people wouldn’t like what she said, but how about her employer leaking the conversation contents for everyone to hear.

I think the problem was it was a private server where certain employees had access. It was “dealt with” internally, but the person who leaked it obviously wanted it out there. At this point, not sure what they can do without legal issues arising. 

But yeah, she should’ve been suspended immediately. She may even be correct in her statement. I read it and didn’t think it was malicious at all, but you better be sure of it. She didn’t seem to have a problem with Maria so much as with ESPN seemingly trying to appear diverse. 

She also should’ve gone to HR with those complaints or her bosses, not a friend over the phone.

Tough to watch Giannis have an amazing game a week after a bad injury and the rest of the team can’t step up.

I think that it would be hard for ESPN to suspend her after they didn't do anything to Jalen Rose over his racist comments.

Well watched last 7 minutes of game 4 and watched Phoenix blow it a bit. Middleton some big shots but Paul with a bad turnover late and Booker couldn’t get back going after picking up his 5th

Giannis never even gets out of bounds to throw it in, officials can’t see his size 20’s I guess
