Love how Baker got a t shirt on this NFL network show and he goes "jesus they made t shirts for one win?" He's gonna turn the culture around here.

I'm sure it was mentioned but it's funny how the "crappy O-Line/running game" looks significantly better with competent QB play.

I know Hue has to play the party line but his post game presser implying he's not committed to a QB for Oakland is ridiculous.

Also the play calling magically looked better, hmm...

Also, Hue is a fucking idiot if he has to think twice about it.   My guess he is too much of a pussy to tell Tyrod he isn't starting.  I don't think Baker is going to make us do cartwheels every game, and the Browns are def not a playoff team. At this point you might as well let him get game experience for something to build on for next year.  You sure as hell are not building on Tyrod.

Not sure he threw a bad throw. He was aweosme and we finally found our QB

The throw in the endzone that bounced off the Jets defender's shoulder pad was a bad one.

Yeah, that was a bad throw. Should've been picked. Baker's receivers also had 3 drops or his stat line would've been even more impressive. Think they were shocked to see such a live/accurate ball thrown to them where they didn't have to bend down or reach back for it.

I like how on that TD drive, despite Landry doing everything he could to fuck up the drive, Baker kept overcoming.

One of my co-workers, who is Mr Conspiracy Theorist thinks the game was scripted...lol. One of the guys here said he thought he could read Haley's lips on the play calling when one of the O-Linemen came out after a series and held his arms out like "WTF are you calling." Co-worker thought Haley said "we gotta do what we can" or something like that, implying "my hands are tied with this limited QB Turd-Rod."

It was so obvious that Baker should have been the starter. No clue what Hue was thinking. And no chance Baker doesn't start next week, Hue just being Hue.

Where is the old Tyrod though? He did not look this shitty in Buffalo.

He was feeding the ball to Lesean Mccoy, which opened up the offense enough for him to make a few plays as needed.  Just enough to go 9-7 and make the playoffs off a miracle bengals win.  The Bills playoff run last year reminded me of the Browns only playoff run since returning.

jesus christ, enough with the "Baker should've been the starter" bullshit--NOBODY knows how it "might have" worked out if he had been...he's our QB now, and that's all that matters--some of you guys are like little fricking kids sometimes

Baker aint coming in guys.  They aren't going to throw him in the middle of a game.  Best hope is Hue decides to start Mayfield next week with the extra days of prep.

I wonder if he was concussed prior to the one that sent him out of the game. He didn't just look bad, he looked Ryan Leaf bad. I will admit this, a few minutes before halftime I said "I'm going to bed because they are getting shut out with this crap sack QBing them." When Baker came in it became "nope, staying up for the second half...must see TV....gonna finally get a W."

Don’t pretend like last nights  TT is the one we saw in games 1 and 2. He was TERRIBLE last night. He was average in games 1 and 2.

Something was definitely up last night. From the start. Think he just didn’t wanna come out because he knew that’d be it for him.

Also fuck Hue for watching baker and TT for the last 2 months and still going with TT.

You're welcome for the reverse jinx.

Also, let's be real, if Tyrod doesn't get hurt, Hue isn't benching him.  I forgot to add the "unless Tyrod gets hurt" clause.

Pretty much my thought process as well, except I did not expect a win.  I just wanted to see how he played.

The conspiracy theorist in me says TT's "injury" was part of the plan to get Mayfield in there without embarrassing him (Taylor) too much-lol...bottom line is, who cares HOW he got in the game--he WAS!!!

I could just feel it that he was going to do something special. I'm sure he'll have his ups & downs but I think there's going to be a lot more positive than negative.

As far as the earlier "we don't know what Baker would've done in those first two games" comment (you didn't make the comment so this isn't directed at you)....the Jets are the best defense the Browns have faced yet. The two previous defenses game up 40+ points to Ryan Fitzpatrick and a QB (albeit, looking very good QB) in his third NFL start. Even if he somewhat pisses down his leg I bet he can generate more that 21 & 18 points in those games.

We haven't seen all of the film to know how many WR/TE's were running free in those first two games where Tyrod didn't recognize it or was afraid to cut it loose. This offense has a completely different confidence/sense of urgency/dynamic with a decisive QB back there who can make and. more importantly, isn't afraid to make all of the throws. The pass protection seems better, the run blocking seems better, the RB's seem to run harder....it's like the offense thinks "we support TT but he sucks and we know his limitations."

This debut reminds me of when I was a younger dude and a #19 electrified the city when he got his chance.

I know it's bad to hope for injuries, but deep down I bet he was somewhat relieved the decision was made for him.  No doubt he is too much of a puss to make that call (replacing Tyrod with Baker) on his own.  Everyone says he is a player coach, but he takes it too far imo, where he is hesitant to make these type of decisions in fear of hurting feelz.  Pete Carroll, for exampe is a players coach, but he isn't afraid to  make those type of decisions.  He easily told Flynn to fuck off and started Russell Wilson.
