With the NY trip looking a lot tougher than before with Yankees and Mets being good, 3/4 might be the minimum needed to not end up 4-5 back again shortly after. Boston, NYY, NYM. Twins do have Milwaukee and Texas, so tough and decent, before the White Sox in that same timeframe.

Anyway, regarding this series, I have a lot of optimism going in. Love being able to get a win AND save Clevinger. Beiber has become someone you just expect to get a win with. Not Kluber level of ‘16-‘17, but getting there. Then hope we catch a hot game or 2 tomclose it out.

Not probable but a sweep would do wonders. Obviously they'd retake the division lead but I also think they'd really get into the Twins heads, having blown an 11 game lead.

Bieber for me. More economical with pitches. Clevinger has taken a giant leap though, one I didn’t see coming and I was super high on him coming into the year. 

Clevinger definitely has better stuff though.

As far as this series goes, tonight is a "must win" in that they have the favorable matchup with Beiber going. If they split the final two I'd consider it a win. Looks like they may have caught a break in this series with Cruz going down. Will be surprised if he plays the rest of this series.
