At the beginning of the year, what number pitcher was Plutko as an option or this year?  8? 9?

No, he was 6 imo. Mostly because he had been promoted off and on over the years. Maybe behind Rodriquez in the organizations eyes, but not behind Salazar. But the organization also knows he is a AAAA guy who is adequate to fill in for injuries. So when someone like Plesac develops faster than anticipated he jumps Plutko.

But I think he would’ve been tabbed as 6th or maybe 7th out of spring.

Mercado needed a day off. Allen in the 2-hole will either be great for him pitch wise or kill some rally’s lol.

A really nice defensive play on what could have been the game winner saved it for now. (Naquin to Lindor to Plawecki)

That’s the difference between your Indians and my Reds. My Reds in a huge game have manager issues and then give up lead and stop scoring......at home. Tribe in same type but on road, makes huge play to save game and then fires back in extras.

Wrap it up. I'll take it.

No rant, mostly because I didn’t see it lol. I wonder if we can get the information on how many failed bunt attempts the Indians have. Either by making the out and not advancing or simply failing to get it down, the striking out or pop up or something. 

I also would’ve hated if Allen had been successful in his sac bunt. Thank goodness he got a hit. They would’ve walked Santana, and Puig would’ve grounded out. Maybe beats out the throw and we get 2, only for Twins to win by scoring 2 lol. 

But in all honesty really didn’t like the decision because Santana would’ve likely been walked. I want him swinging.

To me, it looked like Allen was bunting for a hit first, sac secondary.....which I’m ok with. 

And it worked out for Santana to be able to swing away. 

Just looked at the box score and see that the Twins 1-2-3 hitters were a combined 0-15 in the game. 

Relishing this win!

Coming out of the series tied for 1st is huge for Tribe, and has to be somewhat deflating for Twins. If the schedules were remotely close I’d give Cleveland the edge on this series being the turning point. But alas, our schedule is brutal, and Twins is a cakewalk most of the way. I wouldn’t be surprised if we were back down 2-3 after the Mets series. 

But, if momentum means anything Twins may play poorly and drop a few to bad teams and Tribe could ride hot and win all 3 upcoming series!
