Question #213

In the history of the Nationals (not Expos) which player had the most career HR at the time he played for National’s organization?

I doubt it's Dunn, but I honestly can't think of that many who would be on this list, so Dunn.

Gotta be Dunn

Soriano was too early in career. Pudge not a HR hitter. Zimmerman forever, but less than 300 career. Has to be Dunn, imo.

It’s Dunn at 354

I knew he went back there at like age 40. Figured he was pushing 400 at that point.

This is tough, given that Bags spent his whole career there and is, I'm pretty sure, top 50 in HRs all time.

It's gotta be some little pit stop in Houston at the end of someone's career.  I'd be inclined to guess Thome, just because of how many places he played, but I'm pretty sure he never played there.

Yeah, I was almost certain he didn't.  Did Shef ever play there?  He had a lot of HRs.

Canseco?

I just can't believe it's not Bags or Beltran.  I'm pretty much out of guesses.

I mean, Shef is in that club, but I'm guessing he's a no.  I don't ever actually remember him in an Astros uni.

See?  It's gotta be someone who spent less than a year there, and it was just a blip in their career.  Manny didn't play there.

McCovey?  Reggie?
