Robbie Alomar, maybe?
Also Jeter blew past/hit all those numbers except steals I think.

But Robbie seems correct. Went from top-5 MVP in Cleveland to basically out of the league in a year and a half. He wasn’t the same player following Cleveland in 2001.

Jeter got to those numbers though
Alomar it is....I left out the 10 gold gloves wouldn’t made obvious
Question #197
This former offensive stud had a huge season at age 31, yet another top 5 MVP....through age 31 he was only a few HR shy of 400, nearly 1300 RBI....he was destined for 575 or so HR and 1800-1900 RBI....and pushing near 3000 hits. He never got anywhere near any of those numbers and the sure fire HOFer dropped off pretty hard and career ended not many years later.
Name this non-HOFer

First though was Carlos Delgado, until the second part. Pretty sure he was never pushing 3000 hits
Shawn Green? Soriano?
Ryan Howard?

This guy didn’t either but would’ve had he played as long as most guess/expect

Good guesses but no

Never would’ve touched near 3000 or probably not 2409 but HR/RBI fits....but no
Justice? I can’t go back much further than early-mid 90s for guys that ended up not great.

Nope.....started about same time as Justice

Delgado had 3 seasons 114+ rbi from age 33-36....he fell short a year maybe 2 of my expectations
The answer had over 125 HR at age 23
Dale Murphy

Nope but he did fall off quick right at 400.....
Answer started his career about the time Murphy fell off
Joe carter
Albert Belle

Nope but you are getting there

Great guess....but no, virtually the same player and also not a real nice guy

Belle started almost exactly same time as the answer but was a few years older. Belle had the huge age 31 year but played 2 more years and they were also big years
