Still wondering why East #5 WVU is playing in San Diego
Still wondering why East #5 WVU is playing in San Diego
Ernie Johnson knows this show sucks
East is weakest 1-4
When do they usually announce times?

Later tonight they should roll out.
I was actually just with some cbs executives here in DC at airport. They are all on a huge conference call with the other sites about where announcers are going to go, and what games they want in prime time. Will be released shortly as they got off the call before we boarded.

Tell them their show sucked.

Wouldn’t help, since they aren’t Turner.

Great day of sports....shitty coverages

TIL CBS doesn't own Turner.
Also, MTSU had no business getting in.
But neither did Syracuse.
Anyone know much about Gonzaga?

Not enough to speak intelligently about them but almost every single ESPN guy on their show right now has them vs Michigan to Elite 8 and Gonzaga winning
That crew is overwhelmingly going with Mich St to win it all
posted by HereticAnd right now Lunardi has them as a 14 that'd play Auburn (good team in a bit of a recent slump) in the first round, so anything's at least semi-possible.
Good call on that one
Calipari is such a whiny little bitch.
Teddy Valentine got left out of the NCAA rotation.
There is a God.
Anyone have any cinderella's or bold predictions?
So far I'm thinking Loyola-Chicago over Miami and Rhode Island to sweet sixteen.
Oh yeah, Rhode Island is a potential nightmare for Duke, IMO.

I’m pissy Rhode Island gets the close location. They might go elite 8
couldn't happen to a nicer guy...
Notorious NCAA referee Ted Valentine will not work the NCAA Tournament.

...I love it
I admire your optimism. I see a team that lost 3/5 down the stretch opening with a potential giant killer that's great from beyond the arc (OSU's most glaring defensive weakness, especially down the stretch) that has a potential NBA talent in Daum and if they win that, a rematch with a team that utterly waxed them, albeit before they turned on the switch...even though they looked more like the team that struggled against good competition recently than the team that was winning games left and right through most of the B1G schedule.
So how big is it that Hunter is out for UVA? They still favored over Zona/UK?

He's pretty important. Definitely a tough loss for them.
Virginia has been outstanding all season. However, they haven't really proven that they can take the next step in the NCAA Tournament...yet. I'm honestly not sure they make it past Zona or UK, but maybe this is the year that they finally take the next step.
