Believe it or not, first reds game I’ve been able to sit down and watch. Hour and a half delay and then homer gives up 4 straight hits to start the game.  Fucking Christ. I’m turninf Netflix on.

It was the first game I attended this season. Just awful.

This has been an incredibly frustrating game to watch..have they all been like this?

I'm surprised to hear that was your first game..you usually catch 20+ games a year right?

I've slowed to about 10 a year in recent years, too many other things fighting for my attention. At my peak I was attending 40-50 a year. This year I have two games that were planned before the season started (Friday night with my mom, and a future game with my wife and her siblings and their spouses). Outside of those two I won't be spending money on the Reds this year as ownership appears to not care that the wheels are falling off the rebuild.

Really isn't worth spending money on going unless you just want something to do.  We all have just so much $$ and time to go around and when an organization is such a shitshow like this it just doesn't make you wanna go through the hassle.

So instead we took in a Clippers game this weekend.   For reds fans....had a Matt Belisle sighting!  I thought it HAD to be a different one but nope...same guy apparently.   Also...an Adam Rosealis sighting as well.

Exciting game.   Clips gave up the lead in the top of the 9th, only to have a walk off GS to win it in the bottom.

First and third no outs, don’t score a run and lose. Great night of sports for me!!

Crazy finish last night..turned it on and saw the bottom of the 9th.

Rocks have bases loaded and no out.  GB to votto and a force at the place, and then a line out to 2B double play to end the game!

Catcher made a great play on Vottos throw as it short hopped him.   Bad bad throw.....didn't get his feet under him and he had time. BUT..if the catcher had better footwork then he could have caught it without the short hop.

Wow.

Not sure he will figure out his issues there.  A stint in the minors is what is needed but I am not sure he has any options left and they don't usually do that to a veteran.

I have a friend who would probably throw a party if that happened. Dude's just had a lot of injuries and is obviously no longer major league talent. Seems like he can only throw batting practice pitches now.

Too early for that. With the investment in him, what they owe him they are going to try anything.  BP is the next step.

Red something this AM the reds are serious about trading Scooter by the deadline......

ROIDS!

Heard em talking about him on sportstalk the other day. Dude could rake but missed I think on avg 38 games a year.

Dude was like 165lbs and injury prone but man could he play.   Marge Schott even had a pet name for him....

Anyone see the Votto-Letterman-Seinfeld stuff from last week? Pretty great stuff. Votto is the GOAT.

Yeah, that was hit a ton.

The results of the start weren't good, but I'm glad to see Desclafani finally make it back to the mound. Hopefully he can get back to what he was before the injuries.
