Chubb at 64 would be a steal. But I highly doubt he’s there with that pick.
Completely off topic but I was surprised this morning to see that Mike Mayock had actually played in the NFL for 2-3 seasons. Was the first I'd heard of it. Thought he was one of those pencil necked geeks like John Clayton.

I love this draft. I would be pretty happy if this happened.

I thought the same thing. What position did he play?

Mayock was a DB and actually started with the Steelers, had a cup of coffee in the CFL, then finished his career with the Giants (I believe).
If they get Darnold and Chubb they can just trade the rest of the picks for a few casino chips and I’ll call it a successful draft. That’s been my ideal/dream scenario since like week 6 of the college season.

They need to get two more starters with those high 2nd rounders (33 & 35) for me to consider it a success. With the #1 QB sitting for most of the year, I need to see three day 1 starters, out of the top 35 picks, for it to be a win.
I'd be very happy with that draft. If for nothing else than the lack of idiotic picks like Allen/Barkley.

Those are definitely the 5 positions I want to see addressed with our 1st and 2nd round picks.
Side note - Any idea if NFL schedule will be released this week? I know it historically is released the week before the draft.

Agreed on you top comment. They NEED to hit on the top 4 picks they make. We've heard all about this front office "super team" so they'd better hit.
As far as the second comment, I did hear on Sirius NFL this morning it will be released this week.
Rob Rang's Big Board Top 100:
One thing that comforts me, and actually relieves me, is that I don't think Hue has a clue as to who Dorsey is taking at #1
NFL schedule will be announced tomorrow (Thursday) at 8pm.

Spoiler alert: Browns will lose in week 1 regardless of opponent and probably have 3-4 wins at most. I saved you all any time you were about to waste waiting for the schedules to be released.

They will likely schedule the Browns against Pittsburgh in week 1, since Leveon Bell won't show up until 10 days before the season and he'll be rusty, so they can guarantee that Pittsburgh gets off to a good start.

Also don't forget to factor in that any team with a notable suspension will probably have that player's first game against the Browns.

Right. It's not like they haven't tried to hand the Browns a couple of game 1 "gimmes" (Saints coming off a crappy season, Jets, Philadelphia, etc) over recent history but I think the league has just gotten the mindset where they think "these poor bastards couldn't beat a junior high team, might as well give them to Steelers in week 1 to make sure Pittsburgh gets off to a fast start."
So it sounds like everyone and their brother (McShay, Breer, etc, etc) is saying the number 1 pick is going to be Josh Allen from what they're "hearing." Shit, I get the impression that Hue Jackson doesn't even know who the pick is because he'd probably leak it to that prick, Mike Silver so I doubt they have any real internal sources. I personally think they (Dorsey & gang) are leaking this "love" for Allen so they can get a trade down haul at #4 if Allen's still there after pumping up his value.
Also sounds like Josh Rosen's stock may be falling like a rock and could drop to the Bills at 12
Good...I hope the Browns feel the same way. Much too high of a pick to draft a RB that will likely have 4-5 productive years.
I'm changing my mind--I definitely want Darnold at 1, but I'd love to get Barkley at 4--I think his presence in the backfield would definitely help him out--in so many ways.

Wouldn’t be April if we didn’t get a report that *insert player*’s agent doesn’t want browns to draft him.
Browns start winning and that’ll change.

It's gotten worse where former player/analysts (cough, Ryan Leaf, cough) are suggesting that the top QB's pull an "Eli Manning" and say they won't play for the Browns. None of the QB's have done this, or implied it, but how tf does Ryan Leaf know anything about this current regime/assistant coaching staff? All he has to go on is past history. So Todd Haley is going to come in and suddenly forget how to run an offense? LOL
PS...I think it's already starting to change with Jarvis Landry wanting to be here. Granted, he was traded but still.

Rang's latest mock. Interesting to see who drops to 12...
