In 2016, when Allen threw for 3200 yards, 28 TD's and 15 INT's his completion percentage was 56%. In 2017, when he threw for 1800 yards, 16 TD's and 6 INT's his completion percentage was 56.3%....little to no difference. Dude is not accurate, as you mentioned.
I wasn't defending Weeden earlier because I know I whiffed on that pick and the dude is dog shit but he was light year's ahead of Allen coming out of college.
You want to see something there where you can say "yeah, this could be the guy" but other than size & arm strength (been there, done that with Weeden, DA & Kizer) there's nothing that jumps out at me where I'm saying "sprint to the podium and turn int he card at 1 for him."
Yup, his weaknesses far outweigh his strengths.

Got a tl;dr sparknotes for us? I couldn’t find what they were trying to get at lol
This please. I did a ctrl + F to see what was said about Allen and according to this guy he the Browns' 5th QB. Fine by me if true.

It is always like this leading up to the draft...so much bullshit thrown around that you really gotta just go off your own gut feeling.

This. Especially since Dorsey basically locks himself away for the months leading up to the draft and doesn’t tell but a few people he trusts what the plans are. Everything that is coming out right now is just speculation by media people who need clicks.

Basically, the coaches really like Rosen, Dorsey and DePodesta really like Mayfield. There was mention that they might just take Chubb #1 and then QB @ 4. It could all be bullshit, no doubt, but it was an interesting enough read.

Again, he sucked in college. But he’s not being drafted for his college stats. He’s being drafted purely on potential.
Russell Wilson. I thought he would suck watching his final year at wis. He ended up winning a super bowl by year 2.
What is the biggest determining factor of success in the NFL? How you played in college? What the fuck are you even arguing here? LOL
With your argument, why not drat JT Barrett? He has potential too. Or Barkley at 1, have you seen his "potential"? WOW!

Well my posting history says I'll continue to be this way, however my potential for change is off the charts. If you need an agreeable poster, I'd say go ahead and draft me based on my potential.

Looks like we can get out of it after 2 yrs. Steep for him, but not my money and we have the cap space. Great, now he needs to fucking produce.
where do you see this?

I still think Rosen will be the pick at 1. From what I have heard from someone in the know is that Rosen absolutely impressed everyone at his private work out and that Dorsey is the one that is still questionable on Rosen due to his “character concerns”. I know they have vetted Rosen extremely hard so there is a lot of truth to the mayfield vs Rosen. Honestly I would be completely ok with mayfield. But I would be over the moon with Rosen. I just think he is going to be a stud and a lot of his character issues are way over blown. He reminds me a lot of trever Bauer in a sense.

He actually reminds me of Bauer too. My concerns aren't his character. It's his injury history more than anything.
This, would be fine with Rosen even though I have him as the 3rd QB.

I'd be fine with anyone but Mayfield--if he comes to Cleveland, he'll be yet another bust. Period.
